BMABA awarded ISO 27001:2022 certification

Hi there,

We're delighted to share that BMABA CIC has been formally awarded ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management, assessed by the British Assessment Bureau under UKAS accreditation and achieved with zero non-conformities.

In practical terms, it means the way we protect your data, from membership records and licensing through to safeguarding information, has now been independently certified against the world's leading information security standard. It builds on the ISO 9001 quality management certification we've held since May last year, and remarkably, the whole journey took just six months from a standing start in February. Huge credit to our team for their professionalism throughout.

One more thing: we deliberately held back a raft of development work while the audit was under way.

That's now unlocked, so expect a busy few months of releases and improvements across the platform.
