Smart Watch & Quick Action Notifications for Accepting Bookings

We’ve just launched Quick Responses on Smart Watches and Mobile, so now you can accept or decline a booking in seconds, without even opening the ClassCover app.

• Smart Watch Ready: If you use an Apple Watch or an Android-compatible smart watch, you can now manage bookings instantly from your wrist.

• Quick Action Push Notifications: Don’t feel like logging in? Accept or decline directly from your phone’s lock screen.

How to Turn It On

1. Open the ClassCover mobile app (iOS or Android).
2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right corner.
3. Select Booking Notifications.
4. Choose Quick Action & Watch Notifications.
5. Toggle on to enable.

Things to Know

• Two Notifications Per Booking: When enabled, you’ll receive two push notifications — one standard booking alert and one quick action alert. This is expected behaviour.

• iOS Low-Power Mode: If your iPhone is in low-power mode, Apple may restrict quick action delivery.

• Device Compatibility: Quick responses work on Apple Watch and Android Wear OS devices. Other brands, such as Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, and similar proprietary systems, aren’t supported.

Why Use It

This release gives you two new ways to respond to bookings faster:

• On your smart watch: Accept or decline instantly while you’re teaching, walking between classes, or whenever your phone isn’t in hand.

• On your phone with quick actions: Respond straight from your lock screen, no need to open the app.

Whether you use a smart watch or just your mobile, you’ll save time and stay on top of bookings with less effort.
