ClassCover has been updated to meet the WCAG accessibility standards. Now, when you log into the ClassCover web app you will notice some changes that are designed to make using ClassCover easier and equal for everyone.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, or WCAG, is a set of internationally recognised guidelines designed to make content such as websites and apps accessible and easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. This includes people with difficulties seeing, hearing, speaking, comprehending and more. The WCAG also aim to make online content more accessible for older users.
The most significant change to the ClassCover web app is in the colours used. To bring the web version of ClassCover in line with the WCAG, we have removed two brand colours that were previously used in ClassCover—pink and light blue. This change is now live.
We are always working to make ClassCover more user friendly and accessible for all. Stay tuned as we roll out further improvements to simplify our mobile and web apps for both teachers and schools.
