We have expanded scoping capabilities in the Roles & Permissions interface, allowing you to restrict access using any demographic, such as region, level, or office, moving beyond the previous department-only limitation.

What’s New:

  • Advanced Demographic Scoping: Restrict the Performance (Limited) role using multiple demographic values to ensure HRBPs only see the data they need.
  • Enhanced Confidentiality: Protect sensitive performance data by ensuring administrative access aligns perfectly with your organizational structure.

You can now delegate development oversight to regional HRBPs and functional leads with precision. This update allows you to restrict administrative access to specific employee groups using any demographic, ensuring leaders only see the data relevant to their remit.

What’s New:

  • New Development (Limited) Role: A targeted permission set focused exclusively on viewing employee development plans and reporting.
  • Flexible Demographic Scoping: Restrict access by region, department, or any other demographic using custom AND/OR logic.
  • Enhanced Privacy: Safely decentralize administration without granting full access to Career Pathways, Competencies, or Skills Coach.

Anytime Feedback 2.0 Rollout Begins

We rebuilt Anytime Feedback to be simpler and more impactful. This update moves away from fragmented tools toward a unified experience that makes finding and sharing feedback easier for everyone.

What’s New:

  • Unified Feedback Feed: Access manager-requested, peer, and unrequested feedback in one streamlined view.
  • AI Suggested Improvements: Get real-time coaching to help you write more actionable and balanced feedback.
  • Streamlined Tools: Use a new rich text editor and auto-save functionality so you never lose your progress.

Migration Schedule: Transitions will occur in waves throughout March 2026. You will receive an email specifying your exact window.

  • Wave 1 (Self-Starter): 9 March to 13 March
  • Wave 2 (Standard): 16 March to 20 March
  • Wave 3 (Enterprise): 23 March to 27 March

AI Coach is Now Generally Available

AI Coach in Performance and General AI Coach are officially out of Beta and activated by default for all eligible accounts. Admins can still manage access or refine pilot groups at any time via the AI Coach Settings.

What's New

  • Coaching for Everyone: General AI Coach has expanded beyond managers and is now available to support every employee with career growth, goal setting, and feedback.
  • Flexible Performance Prompts: Managers can now search specific time periods in AI Coach for Performance to pull the most relevant data into their conversations.
  • Resizable Side Panel: All AI Coach modules now feature a resizable window, making it easier to view your coaching and core content side-by-side.
  • Previous Settings Honored: If pilot groups were set up previously, or AI Coach opt-out was requested, these settings will be honoured, and the features will not be automatically activated.

What’s New:

  • Easy Multitasking: Keep your AI Coach, survey results, or performance reviews fully visible while you work instead of clicking back and forth.
  • Flexible Layout: Easily slide the panel to make it wider or narrower for total control over your screen.
  • Familiar Functionality: The tools work exactly as they did before, just with a better view.

Introducing Employee Data Limited Permissions (Scoped)

Managing your people data is now more flexible. We’ve introduced the Employee Data Limited permission role, allowing you to empower HR Business Partners and Regional Managers to manage their own teams without granting access to the entire organization.

What’s New:

  • Scoped Access: Restrict data management to specific departments, locations, or demographic groups, ensuring leaders only see the employees relevant to their role.
  • Autonomy for Leads: Scoped admins can now update attributes, activate/deactivate accounts, and resolve errors, like bounced emails, for their specific group.
  • Privacy by Design: To ensure maximum data security, this role is automatically restricted from viewing Sensitive Demographics, keeping your most private employee data limited to full Account Administrators.

This update balances decentralised management with strict data governance, giving your regional leads the tools they need while keeping sensitive information secure.

Smarter Employee Deactivation

We’ve updated our deactivation logic to be more intuitive and timezone-aware. Previously, assigning an End Date triggered an instant lockout; now, the system ensures employees maintain access until the very end of their final working day.

What’s New:

  • End of Day Deactivations: When you assign an End Date, users now remain active until 11:59 PM in your account’s local timezone. This prevents mid-day access cuts on an employee's last day.
  • Precise Full Imports: If a user is excluded from a Full Import, the system now assigns an End Date of the day before the import. This ensures they are deactivated immediately upon the sync.

These changes provide a smoother transition for departing staff while ensuring your security remains tight during bulk data updates.

The Goal Usage Report just received an upgrade. You can now generate a single, unified export containing all your key details, eliminating the need to manually merge files to see the full picture.
