Hey everyone — you may have already noticed some of these, but this is the official announcement of:

  • New pricing plans
  • Identity-verified forms
  • Conditional web completion flow
  • Some other small changes

Let's get into the details.

New pricing plans

We've given our pricing plans a bit of an overhaul recently.

Gone is the form allowance plan, replaced with the "basic" plan — which is a true pay as you go plan. No more estimating your usage and adjusting for the following month — just pay for what you use.

The per practitioner plans are now the "pro" plans, and you can pay for them annually for a ~10% discount on the equivalent monthly fee.

Finally, for kiosk-only clinics, we've introduced a "kiosk only" plan which allows unlimited kiosk usage, and is charged by the number of practitioners in your clinic.

You can read all about the exact details of these plans in our article on pricing plans.

Identity-verified forms

Web forms used to only be accessible via the same URL for any patient. Anyone with the URL could fill out the form, and Finger-Ink would do a matching process (once the patient completed the form) to figure out where to send it in Cliniko.

New in September 2025, we're introducing Identity-verified forms! 🤩

  1. Responses update the correct patient 100% of the time.
  2. Forms are pre-populated for quick filling.
  3. Form progress is saved across browser sessions.
  4. You, as the clinic, can see progress as your patients complete their forms.

For instructions on how to set this up so that you can start using them today, visit our article on setting up forms to send automatically.

Conditional web completion flows

Have you ever wanted to show something different at the end of the form, after the patient has signed?

Perhaps you want to show a score you calculated within the form. Or perhaps you want to show a different message which depends on the calculated score.

Or perhaps you want to send the patient to completely different page automatically, depending on their answers.

Well, all this is now possible with conditional web completion flow (what a mouthful).

The default completion flow is what you're used to — it displays confetti, a thumbs up emoji, thanks the patient for filling out the form then instructs them to close the browser tab. All of this can now be configured in the form editor:

Furthermore, you can add any number of conditional web completion flows. These are completion flows that take priority over the default when their conditions are met.

In the example below, the patient is redirected to a specific appointment's booking page on form completion, but only when their score is greater than 10:

Other small changes

A few other small items have been released in the last little while too:

  • Screens & sections can now be copied & pasted between forms.
  • The "invoice extra information" box can now be populated with default values from prior answers in the form.
  • We've added a round_to function in forms so that you can round calculated values to the desired number of decimal places.
  • The iPad app can now filter appointments based on the clinic / location.

That's all for now. If you have any comments or suggestions of things we can do to improve Finger-Ink, just ask. 🥳
