A big update, from us.

We are going to stop working on POPFRYS on May 3rd, 2026.

POPFRYS was not a big project. It was a small thing that we liked. We kept working on it and putting time into it at night. We would make changes that most people probably did not even notice.

We noticed them. We cared about POPFRYS.

It is hard to explain why letting go of something small can feel so heavy.

As time went on, things changed. We started to focus on other things, and POPFRYS was no longer getting the attention it needed. It deserves better than being slowly ignored, so instead of letting it fade away, we are choosing to close it properly.

This does not make it any easier.

There are a lot of memories connected to POPFRYS—moments that did not seem important at the time, but somehow stayed anyway. It is strange to think we will not be making any more of them.

If you ever used POPFRYS, even for a little while, you were part of something that mattered to us. POPFRYS meant a lot more than we ever really said.

Thank you for being a part of POPFRYS.

As for the Discord server, it will stay open for a short time after discontinuation so people can say their goodbyes and look back on what was built. After that, it will be archived and eventually closed.
