The Update: Eligible partners enrolled in Domestic Content will now receive funding for projects following the submission of M1.

The Details:

• Payments will be determined by DC eligibility and and structured by payment plan percentages. For example, a project would be funded under the following process:

• Total Project Value with DC = $40,000
• Payment Plan = 85% at Install Submitted (M1) / 15% Activation Submitted (M2)
• Install Submitted Payment = $40,000 *85% = $34,000

• Projects that have been reviewed and are determined to not be eligible under our Domestic Content guidelines will receive a true-up on the payment difference upon M1 approval.
• Payments will follow our standard Funding Schedule.

The Update: LightReach will be live on 8/18/25 in several markets

The Fine Print: From 8/18, we will be live in major, investor-owned utilities in these states and will assess additional utility territories over the coming months.

Update: Project Milestones and Approval

Installation Milestone (Conditional Approval):

• Eligible if all PV arrays and electrical equipment are mounted and wired. SE backup interface shortage will be treated as an electrical upgrade. Backup interface installation and final interconnection are not required.

Activation Milestone (Final Approval):

• For activation milestone submission, the project must be fully complete, including backup interface installation and final interconnection to the home’s electrical system.

This process is designed to allow for conditional approval of the main installation while we await the necessary components for the final connection. Please adhere to these new guidelines to maintain project timelines and compliance. (HERE)

All PV systems with a system size (kW) change of ±25% or more from the contracted size at installation will require a new customer contract with updated size, production, and monthly payment. EPC payments are subject to change and will be adjusted accordingly.

Update: SolarEdge has reported a shortage of their Consumption CTs. Until further notice,

• LightReach will accept alternative CTs from approved OEMs ONLY.
• Once SolarEdge confirms supply has stabilized, we will notify EPCs to resume using the standard CTs.
• Consumption CTs from Approved OEMs listed in SolarEdge Application Note.

The Update: Our Existing Nevada and Illinois Compliance Processes Are Now Housed in the Palmetto LightReach Support Chat.

• Nevada Compliance (Generates unique sales rep IDs): Must be submitted by EPC Admin/Owner & can be accessed under the "Installer Admins: Org Settings" Queue.
• Illinois Sales Rep Compliance Process B: can be submitted by sales reps via the "Sales and Underwriting" Queue.

The Update:

Good News! LightReach has worked with the Connecticut Green Bank, our AVL Battery manufacturers, and key Partners to develop a Palmetto LightReach Solar + Battery Storage plan and process that puts our CUSTOMERS and our PARTNERS - FIRST! Install Partners are eligible, but not required, to enroll systems in CT Energy Storage Solutions Program and receive the ‘Passive’ or ‘Upfront’ incentive directly, while our homeowner Customers are eligible to receive the ‘Active’ or ‘Ongoing’ incentive payments to offset future monthly costs.

Details:

• Installers have the choice to enroll LightReach systems into the CT ESS Program, or not
• If enrolling, Installers must be approved by the Program as eligible contractors. The CT ESS Contractor Application is found HERE
• Enrolling systems into the CT Energy Storage Solutions program requires Additional documentation for M1/M2 submission.
• Submit your onboarding request through the Lightreach Installer Ops Center by navigating to Installer Admin > Org Settings > Battery Enablement.

The Update: We have launched the Domestic Content Calculator in the finance portal. It can be located within the M1 submission packet and Org Admins will also have access to a standalone calculator available in the "admin" drop down menu.

Making it easier to check possible combinations outside specific projects.

The Fine Print:

• For projects that are eligible for Domestic Content, The EPC will be required to confirm System Design & Domestic Content Qualification prior to full M1 package submission.
