The Update: From 9/15/25, contracts with Backup Batteries will always require our standard 20% minimum backup reserve level, and, have Storm Guard settings enabled.
Update:
Beginning November 1, 2025, California residential solar Interconnection Application submissions must include a new Solar Energy System Supporting Information document. The 7-page document, also referred to as the CSLB Disclosure Document, requires a 1-year energy savings estimate with standardized inputs and assumptions for solar or solar+storage.
Palmetto LightReach will begin requiring a copy of the completed Solar Energy System Supporting Information document at Milestone 1 on submissions beginning November 1, 2025.
Installation partners are expected to complete the savings estimate, collect the hourly usage history, all remaining fields, and provide a copy to the homeowner. Template here.
Stay tuned, more info to come.
