⭐ Star of the month: Notable Events

Stay ahead of demand with event‑driven planning

Whether it’s a bank holiday, a local concert, or a major sporting event, Notable Events helps you plan staffing with confidence by bringing external factors directly into your scheduling.

With Notable Events, you can:

• Create and manage events via the Event Planner or directly in the rota
• Display events across selected sites or departments
• Automatically flag absence requests that clash with key dates

This makes it easier to maintain coverage during busy periods and gives both managers and employees visibility when requests overlap with important events.

Getting started

Notable Events is available with Rotaready Pro and Premium packages. Head to Rotas → Event Planner to start building your event calendar.

🤔 Did you know?

Attendance Zones let you control exactly where and when employees can clock in and out via the mobile app.

What you can do:

• Set precise clock‑in locations by dropping a pin on the map
• Adjust the clock‑in radius using the sensitivity slider
• Link shifts to specific zones or allow exceptions
• Benefit from accurate GPS lookup and location handling

💡 Top tip: A slightly higher sensitivity radius helps reduce GPS issues and keeps clock‑ins smooth for your team.

Getting started

Go to Settings → Attendance Zones to create or edit your zones.

🚀 What's new?

We’ve released a couple of exciting updates this month!

🤖 Predictive Analytics Copilot

You can now query labour, sales, and reservation predictions in natural language through the new Predictive Analytics agent.

Ask questions like:

• “What’s influencing today’s predictions?”
• “How is the weather affecting demand?”
• “Why has today’s prediction changed?”
• “How do predictions compare to actuals?”

This brings richer, more actionable insights directly into Evo.

🇮🇪 Irish Statutory Compliance Updates

Cost Control now reflects new and upcoming Irish legislation, including auto‑enrolment pension changes and updated PRSI rate increases.
