Welcome back to 'In the spotlight' - your regular roundup of the latest Rotaready product updates and insights. This month, we're teasing Auto Scheduling, plus a look at how your team can manage their own shifts. Here's what we've been up to:
You already know Rota Templates. Now meet Auto Scheduling, a much easier interface with smart scheduling built in, so your rota generates itself based on demand once your template's set up.

We're looking for a small group of customers to help shape Auto Scheduling before it rolls out more widely, through our new Early Adopter Programme. This one's especially for you if you haven't used Rota Templates before, and if you join, it'll cover your full organisation, not just a single site.

Life doesn't always go to plan. Shift Swap tools give employees the flexibility to manage their own shifts without the back-and-forth, while keeping managers firmly in control.

Employees remain responsible for their shift until a colleague agrees to take it on, and every offer or swap needs your final approval before it's confirmed. Once you approve it, schedules update automatically and employees are notified, so there's nothing for you to chase.

Employee Sentiment is a Rotaready Evo feature that gives you real time insight into team morale, helping you spot trends and support your staff more effectively.
At the end of each shift, employees are prompted to complete a quick feedback survey via the mobile app or kiosk. They rate their shift on a 5 point emoji scale and can leave an optional comment for extra context.
From there, the feature does the heavy lifting:
