The Building Science Principles (BSP) Certificate of Knowledge is an entry-level credential from the Building Performance Institute (BPI). It gives you a foundational understanding of how a home's parts (insulation, HVAC, ventilation, and appliances) work together to affect energy efficiency, comfort, and durability. No hands-on prerequisites, just the core knowledge that makes you sharper on the job. It is the perfect first step into energy-efficient home performance.

Note: This is a paid Certificate of Knowledge. Each attempt costs $120.
