New Public API documentation with Swagger 🀘

Swagger UI presents a human-friendly interface where users can explore and understand an API. It also allows users to "try out" API calls directly from the browser, facilitating testing and understanding of API behaviour. The UI is generated from an OpenAPI Specification (OAS) file, which describes the API's structure, endpoints, parameters, responses, and authentication methods. This ensures the documentation is always in sync with the API's definition.

As well as the new documentation and, the API is now richer with more requests for users to be able to interact with milestones, phases, sub items and tracking information for quotes and invoices. There are also new routes for searching including a new route to detail all the available filters that can be used and details about the data being returned

πŸ’… Small but Mighty

  • πŸ” API: a POST job sub-item endpoint is now available via the API
  • πŸ” API: the quotes endpoint is now available via the API
  • πŸ” API: milestones can be fetched via the API
  • 🧼 Items & Expenses: If the item & expense names (typed manually), match the existing item or expense within the Master Settings, Streamtime will recognise their General Ledger codes assigned in Xero
