Improved Item Reporting

Items are now something you can report on properly. The new Items list view brings every item across your jobs into one place — name, value, hours planned vs used, and status — so you can filter, group, sort and save the view you need without opening each job one by one.

It means the item-level questions you've been asking us for can finally be answered: which items are tracking over on hours before the next billing milestone, how planned sell compares to used sell by phase, what's been delivered since the last invoice and hasn't been billed yet and how revenue splits across your service lines. The same data is available through the Streamtime MCP server if you'd rather pull it out that way. Head here to learn more 🎉

💅 Small but Mighty

New ToDo Modal

The new To Do modal is now live for everyone! It's one consistent way to create and edit To Dos wherever you're working — the To Do screen, the Schedule, or inside a job. Search surfaces what you've logged against recently, including items assigned to a role rather than to you by name. You'll also see progress on the item you're logging to, quick duration buttons, repeating To Dos, the timer and checklists in the one place — plus a nudge when you're logging more than you have capacity for.

Thank you to everyone who shared feedback through the beta — it shaped a lot of what shipped. The full how-to lives here, and we unpacked how it all works in our recent What's New in Streamtime webinar 📺

🛠 Fixes

  • Team members with time free no longer show as "Overbooked" in the To Do modal, and the modal now shows the date range that availability figure covers.
  • Newly created or assigned items appear in the To Do modal straight away, instead of only after closing and reopening your browser.
  • Right-clicking a To Do in the Schedule and choosing "Go to Job" no longer deletes it.
  • Invoices with a large number of line items now send to Xero.
  • Copying an invoice to Xero no longer fails when the tracking option already exists there.
  • Organisations with a Xero connection per branch can copy invoices on their second branch again — affected invoices heal on their next copy.
  • Saving a Purchase Order after changing or clearing its supplier works again, and it picks up the new supplier's default address.
  • Sorting a jobs list by "time remaining" works again, and respects the direction you choose.
  • Assigning someone from the Schedule no longer disappears when they have no rate on the job's rate card.
  • Bulk actions are working again — if you ran one and nothing happened, it's worth re-running it.
