This release includes a new sign-in system, a new prospecting value add in beta, a Homework calculation fix, on-demand report refresh, and UI and infrastructure updates.

SSO with Google and Microsoft, plus email magic link sign-in

A faster, simpler way to sign in.

  • Google and Microsoft SSO. Sign in with your existing Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account.
  • Email magic link. Receive a secure sign-in link by email, with a one-time code for signing in on another device.
  • Unified sign-in page. Sign-in and sign-up are handled on one page.
  • Password setup. Accounts created via SSO or magic link can add a password later from account settings.

Existing password sign-in is unchanged, and two-factor authentication still applies to password-based sign-ins. Live for all users, no configuration required.

One Page Plan value add (beta)

A single-page plan summary built for prospecting meetings: a household's checklist items, action steps, and planning priorities on one branded page.

  • Inline editing. All sections are editable directly on the page. This is the first SurgeTK report with full inline editing.
  • Firm-level template. Define a default once. Every household inherits it and can be customized individually.
  • New location. Appears in a new Prospecting Tools section, separate from client-facing Value Adds.

Beta, enabled per firm. Contact your SurgeTK representative for access.

Homework: withdrawal fix and option to hide historical data

  • Corrected withdrawal figures. Withdrawals are now built exclusively from recorded one-time transactions, so reports match recorded account activity. Existing reports pick up corrected figures on next refresh.
  • Hide page 2. New firm setting to hide Homework page 2 (historical account data) across all reports, including printed and emailed packets.

Refresh button on all value add pages

Buckets, Guardrails, Beneficiary, Net Worth, Homework, and 1099 now have a Refresh action that recalculates the report on demand with current data. Regenerate immediately after updating balances, transactions, or household details.

UI improvements and infrastructure

  • Buttons now keep their label visible during loading, with a spinner shown next to it.
  • Corrected dialog icons, collapsible Prospecting Tools section, and layout fixes on value add pages.
  • Upgraded core dependencies and monitoring, improved request handling on high-traffic endpoints, and added automated end-to-end test coverage.
