Back with two big new Chariot features -- and a few smaller updates. For both new features, we're turning on early access to moving companies that request it. The plan is to roll out to everyone (or give you the ability to turn it on yourself from settings) in the coming weeks.

The big ones:

1. Mover Schedule Acknowledgments - track which movers saw their upcoming assignments, and who may need a check in.

2. Generate inventories with voice dictation - no need to type or tap, full inventory details.

Mover schedule acknowledgments!

Imagine it’s 4pm.…

  • You finalize tomorrow’s schedule.
  • You assign crews and trucks and finish the Job notes.
  • You click Notify Movers, sending each crew member their schedule.

Then it’s 9pm...and you wonder: Did everyone see it? Do they know when to show up? Do I need to call them?

With Mover Schedule Acknowledgments, you’ll know. See exactly who has confirmed their schedule – and who still needs a reminder.

Easy for the office:

Easy for your movers:

The feature works for any upcoming jobs you assign (and don't hide) to your crews. It also gives you flexibility to mark acknowledgements from the office (if a mover calls/ texts outside Chariot to confirm), with additional flexibility for other real-world situations.

Generate inventories in Chariot – just by recording your voice

You can now generate full inventory lists in Chariot – complete with items, weights, volumes, and notes – just by recording your voice.

Click “Dictate items” from the Inventory tab and record your list. You can dictate everything at once or add items across multiple recordings (for example, room by room). Be as detailed as you want. Chariot AI handles the rest.

This is especially useful when:

  • Entering an inventory from outside Chariot: Record items from a customer’s email, your onsite notes, or notes you jotted down during a call from the truck. Often faster than manual entry.

  • Performing an onsite estimate: Dictate the inventory room by room as you walk through the home, so you can focus more on the customer and less on your phone or notepad.

We’re excited to see how this helps your team -- and discuss where voice dictation and AI could help movers elsewhere throughout Chariot.

Reminder: We still need your documents!

We’re building a feature to create, send, and e-sign custom documents through Chariot – and are looking to get as many example documents from movers.

Send us any document you wish you could send through Chariot. We’ll look to turn it into a digital template, and you may be among the first to use the new feature.

Other small but mighty updates đź’Ş

  • Moving companies with multiple locations can now toggle between their week and monthly schedules by location -- all from one screen.
  • The job schedule menu now includes separate shortcuts for the vertical and horizontal schedule views. Fewer clicks if you prefer the horizontal schedule.
  • The full job export now includes a list of trucks and movers who worked each job (we break out who was dispatched, and who showed up on the Results). You can use this, for example, to analyze revenue by specific truck or mover.
  • You now have the option to pull in job size with volume (not just weight, our default) into the Leads and Jobs dashboards. Click Columns, and select "Size (Vol)". If you always prefer to see volume on these pages, we recommend using Saved Views to swap in this column as your default. Reach out if you need help.
  • We squashed several bugs, including a notable one that caused the main menu to sometimes collapse when on a phone and clearing out the search bar. As always, ping us if you see anything unexpected in the software!
