Hope your 2026 is off to a good start – we’re back with some new product updates to make it even better!
Quick summary (details below 👇):
We have a lot in the works. We’ll be back very soon.
All the best,
Ian (on behalf of the Chariot team)
Reports are now organized by topic and common questions, making it easier to find the insights you’re looking for.

We’ve also added a variety of new reports, and simplified names and descriptions of existing reports:
Note: Only applies to moving companies enrolled in Chariot payment processing
Previously, the deposit for a move was set on the “Estimate Format” (which controls intro, terms, display of charges, etc.). That meant that to request a new deposit amount, you needed to (1) add a new Format to your Chariot set up or (2) send a one-time payment link, separate from the estimate.
Now, you can set a custom deposit on any Estimate.
At the bottom of the page, click the edit button next to "Deposit". Then, select a deposit setting (flat rate, percentage based, multiple of hourly estimate, just take card on file, no deposit) based on your preference.

If you want to re-use this deposit setup on future moves, we recommend saving it as part of a new Estimate Template so it can be loaded up with just 1-2 clicks. Reach out to Support if you need help with this!
Chariot’s Ads & Marketing platform (Reports > Ads & Marketing) now gives you visibility into revenue from any marketing channel you run — including offline and “scrappier” marketing that movers rely on.
In addition to paid ads and organic traffic, you can now track booked revenue from:
…and still see Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Organic Search alongside them.
How it works, high level:
When a customer books a move, Chariot assigns a Primary Marketing Source using a simple priority order:
This keeps reporting clean and consistent — for example, ad clicks take priority over UTMs if both are present.
By default, the second page of the form now includes an optional field for customers to add details about their move beyond just the basic services needed (giving you more context upfront and helping dial in your sales calls).

Any details added by customers will display under “General notes (visible to crew)” on the Lead/Job’s Intake tab.
If you don't want this field to show, you can turn it off from Settings > General > Web Form Configuration
You can now add notes to AI Voice calls so that you (and other team members) can keep track of who has reviewed the call, key takeaways, and next steps.
Reminder: You can set custom “Saved Tags” to use on any job via Settings > General > Lead/Job Configuration.
Now, in addition to adding these saved tag from the job’s intake page, you can easily add them to the Leads / Jobs/ Archives dashboards as well! Just click into the “Tags” field for the lead/job and add/ remove your tags via the dropdown.

Hey there,
In addition to the new add-ons we’ve announced (Ads & Marketing Platform full launch, Automations beta), we’ve also shipped some meaningful upgrades to the core Chariot experience you use every day.
Quick Summary (details below 👇)
👀 Sneak peek: AI-generated inventory from LiveSwitch videos
Soon, you’ll be able to generate accurate inventory lists from videos with one click — including weights and volumes — directly inside Chariot.
More soon, but reach out if you want an early look.
📣 Quick Reminder: Ads & Marketing Platform
You can now see which ads actually drive revenue, and run campaigns optimized for booked jobs — not just leads. The result: higher ROI and clearer visibility into what’s working.
❓FYI: We re-organized our help center to make it easier to find answers and onboard new team members to Chariot. You can also still search help articles in the chat widget in the bottom-left of Chariot.
As always, more to come soon.

We've been renaming reports to be more intuitive, adding highly requested new ones, and making navigation much easier.
New reports available now:
Added Sales Owner filter to:
Preview of what's coming soon!

Webhooks let Chariot send real-time events to other tools the moment something happens. Paired with Zapier or Make.com, you can automate a ton of functionality.
Common use cases:
Sounds technical, but setup is straightforward. We go over some real examples step-by-step right here!
Many movers (especially weight-based) bill packing via per-container, pack, and unpack rates. This is now fully supported in Chariot on Estimates and Bills of Lading/ Invoices.
Before this update, the Chariot team could set up these charges for you, and you could generate this billing on estimates using the “Includes Labor” toggle on the Packing section. But it didn't fully translate on the billing side.
Setting up / editing charges
Go to Settings > Charges. When editing or creating a charge with a Category of Packing or Materials, use the dropdowns to set separate Container/Pack/Unpack rates.

Using on Estimates
Toggle on “Includes Labor” to use this billing method on an Estimate (or build it into Estimate Templates). Container and pack rates will sync for any boxes set up as synced to CP inventory items.

Using on Bills of Lading
When adding a box/ materials charge to a Bill of Lading, if “Includes Labor” is toggled on for the Estimate’s packing section, the crew will see the option to set container/ pack/ unpack rates on each charge. Imported packing charges will automatically apply each rate.
The charges display cleanly on the final bill of lading and invoice – no manual, confusing-looking grids!

The job preview now includes clear actions to:
Fewer clicks, faster navigation.
When hourly rates are synced with work times, the associated date now appears directly on the charge — making multi-day jobs much easier to read on BoLs and invoices.

We finally we made inventory tab mobile-friendly! Use your phone to take inventory wherever you are – whether an onsite, your truck, or your couch!

We upgraded customers to our newest voice model – and our AI Voice Assistant now sounds noticeably more natural, emotive, and realistic.
This means smoother conversations, less lag, and overall better efficiency, which we expect to translate into more completed intakes and time savings!
If you do moves outside the United States, you can enable non-US addresses from 2 settings:
(1) Settings > General > Lead/Job Configuration > Allow non-US addresses: This enables non-US addresses on the office side of Chariot
(2) Settings > General > Web Form Configuration > Allow non-US addresses on web form: Allows your customers to input international addresses on your Chariot-provided web form.
Once enabled, you can toggle on and enter international addresses for any job’s location:

For example, this can be helpful to track follow-up calls that you need to make at specific times requested by the customer.

From the Office Calendar, click / press PRINT, select the users you want to print an agenda for (you can select multiple to print agendas for multiple people at once – similar to our print Work Orders feature on the Job Schedule.
Chariot will generate a nicely styled-PDF, ready to print and hand to your team members!
Chariot now automatically saves a CSV/ spreadsheet file of many Reports that you run, so that you can easily reference back to them instead of needing to re-run from scratch.
We’ve begun rolling this out moving companies using Chariot, and everyone should see it by the end of next week!
Much more to come on Reporting enhancements very soon!
I’m back with another big one we've had in the works: Chariot Automations.
You’ve already seen some built-in automations in Chariot — things like sending welcome messages when leads submit forms, estimate reminders, or payment receipts.
But this new feature goes much further:

Put manual tasks on autopilot — saving time and driving more revenue.
We’re opening a small early-access group to shape this first version and get the biggest impact right away. Early adopters will work closely with our team, share feedback, and help prioritize what comes next.
👉 Join the waitlist now if you're interested!
We've also been making some exciting upgrades to the core Chariot features that you're using today -- I'll have more to share next week.
- Ian
We’re tackling a common (and costly) problem for movers: expensive, inefficient ad spend.
Too often, we see:
So -- we’re rolling out a new Chariot Ads/Marketing Platform. It connects your ad accounts and website to your Chariot account in minutes, and lets you:

If you’ve ever wondered which ads actually make you money, if your agency is giving you the full picture on their ROI, or if your moving company could benefit from running more ads (but don't have the time/ expertise) -- we're here to help.
We’re inviting a limited group of early customers to get access first.
👉 Join the waitlist now to be part of the first rollout.
More to come on this and other new Chariot tools for you!
Ian
Hi there,
Back with another update.
Every mover knows the pain of crews forgetting to add charges to a bill of lading -- lost revenue, plain and simple.
To reduce the chance of this issue, we've made a notable change to how charges from the estimate get imported to the bill in Chariot.
More context below. Reach out if anything is unclear!
Even more to come soon :)
Ian
P.S. You can also now add/ edit tags -- including saved tags -- to the intake tab of a lead / job. If you missed the previous update on saved tags, check it out!
If you opened a new Bill of Lading:
The problem was:
When opening a bill of lading/ move contract, your mover will see a pop up asking them to confirm if they want to add charges from the estimate to the bill -- right from the start.
They have the option to uncheck any charges that don't apply -- or to start fresh if they prefer. It will be most natural to add all the charges and proceed - and we expect this is best in most cases.
Note that the "special" hourly rate charge -- the one synced to your team's work times or time tracking -- will not be included in the import (since it depends on the actual times worked.
Some situations where a mover may not want to import from an estimate:

If you're reading this and thinking:
"I always want the crew to bring charges from the estimate onto the final bill -- I don't even want them to have a way to mess this up!"
Then go to Settings > General > Company-Wide > Billing and check on the setting to "Always Automatically Import Charges from Estimate to new Bills of Lading".

If this setting is turned on, the crew leader will be warned that charges will be imported to the bill -- but won't have the option to skip the import step.

For an average mover in September, our AI Voice Assistant:
In short: it’s helping sales teams book more moves with less work – and even allowing movers to expand their business hours, helping them win busy customers who can't typically call during standard hours.
In the background, we’re continuing to push forward our AI’s capabilities to drive more impact for our movers.
With that in mind... 2 major updates below!

These insights make it simple to track ROI, understand when leads are coming in, and see the real impact your AI is having each month.
Our AI now has AI-enabled categorization every call -- so you can instantly see which calls are new sales opportunities, a voicemail about something unrelated to sales, and what’s just noise.
This makes your call stats clearer, reduces clutter, and ensures every real lead is tracked automatically.

Tags are now easier and more powerful. Instead of typing them out each time, you can create Saved Tags – complete with colors and even emojis.
Use them across leads and jobs, filter on them with Saved Views, and quickly spot context like VIP customer, Spanish speaker, callback needed, or whatever is important to your team.
→ Find/ edit them from Settings > General > Lead/Job Configuration.
→ You can add/ edit them on each job from the “quick view” (we’ll be adding them to the “Intake” tab soon)

→ You can also add them from the leads/ jobs tables – if a tag you write matches a Saved Tag, it will automatically color code.

We’ve simplified the way you control what customers see on estimates. Just click FORMAT for a cleaner list of options.
Reminder: You should NOT need to customize these details every time. Instead, set up saved formats and templates you can load-up automatically. Reach out to support@chariotmove and we’ll make sure you’re set up for success!
Leads and jobs now look cleaner on smartphones, with quick view, stage changer, and actions always in reach. More mobile improvements are on the way.
Pro tip: If you’re often using Chariot on a phone, we recommend adding it as a web app to your home screen. Learn more here!
No more clicking through the Actions menu – just click the stage itself to update with 1 click.

The report now includes:
To keep this report running fast, exports are now limited to 6-month chunks, but you can combine periods – or reach out to support@chariotmove.com if you need help pulling multi-year data in one go.
🤑 Referral bonuses – Know a mover looking to upgrade software after busy season? Send them our way and earn cash/ discounts on Chariot. [Learn more -> ]
💬 Chat widget access – If you ever have trouble seeing the chat bubble in the bottom-left corner, let us know (a couple users have reported issues recently). That’s where you can message support, search articles, see updates like these, and find key links!
📹 LiveSwitch integration – Fall is a great time to try live video calls and links through Chariot and LiveSwitch. Customers get 10% off LiveSwitch.
Hope you’re having a productive busy season!
We’re still working around the clock to improve Chariot. See what’s new below 👇 and reach out with any questions or feedback!
Other news and notes:
- Ian (on behalf of the Chariot team)
You now have the option to collect a card on file during estimate signing without charging upfront (no need to take a deposit). Great for teams that want a card in case of no-show payment issues.
(***Support setup required - contact us if you want this on for some of your estimate formats!***)
View a lead/job summary from the top of the page—on any tab—so key info is always handy.
Previously, you could only edit a lead’s/job’s tags from the Lead ands Jobs screens/ tables.
Now you can edit them from the “quick view”, which means you can virtually add and edit tags from any screen in Chariot!
You can use tags to track/ organize anything from follow-up instructions, the status of claims, and more.
See if a customer stopped filling out a form—and where—so you know if inventory is partial or complete.
We’ve shortened some stage names to simplify your experience:
Set your own default schedule tracks from Settings > General > Scheduling to keep your dispatch views up to date. Confused about why/ how to use default and custom/ one-off tracks? See here.
You can now round to the nearest time increment (not just up). Set this up from Settings > General > Payment and Billing.
Notifications now show the newest first — more consistent with other apps you use.
Quick View now shows estimate type, deposit amount, and a clearer arrival window for each day.
Hey there
It’s been a busy stretch since our last product update – our engineers have been shipping fast, and there’s a lot to catch up on.
Below is a quick rundown of what’s new, plus some details if you want to dig deeper. As always, we’d love your feedback or questions — ping us anytime!
Small but mighty updates:
Other news and reminders:
See you soon,
Ian (on behalf of the Chariot team)
Previously, if you want to update your templated Chariot email and texts – or add your own custom email templates – you’d have to message our support team. No longer!*
From Settings > Edit Message Templates, you can now edit and create email and SMS templates on your own. For emails, you can add custom formatting, colors (backgrounds and text), videos, social links, dividers, attachments, and more!
You’ll use “merge tags” to add dynamic content (customer name, links to estimates, review request buttons, etc.) throughout your message templates.
*Two notes about this:
Previously, LiveSwitch videos had to be viewed from the Inventory tab for a job. Now they’re conveniently accessible from the “quick view”.
The videos are now also viewable by the movers in their job summary!
We wanted to make it easier for you to track HOW your customers got into your sales funnel – and to enable better reporting around this (e.g., how many booked jobs did I get from the AI Voice Assistant last month?).
The new “First Source” field in your Leads/ Jobs dashboards – and full job export, now enables this. More to come!
Under “FORMAT” for an estimate, you can now hide the move dates section from the top of the estimate (for TBD moves) or the total estimate that shows on top (if you prefer the customer has to scroll down to see it).
Note: that if you do a multi-day move with TBD dates, this might not fully solve the issue. If you’re showing charge details and breaking out charges by date, out by date, the dates will show in the charges section. We have a follow-up queued-up for this.
If you have access to multiple Chariot accounts – for example, you work in sales for a multi-location company – switching between accounts is now as simple as clicking on the account toggle in the top-left of Chariot!
