We’ve implemented the ability for Moving Companies to customize their own list of payment methods that users / movers can log manually.
We’ll be rolling this out widely in the next ~2 weeks after some initial testing with customers who are eager to have this turned on. If you’d like early access, let us know!
Different users want to see different things when they log into Chariot. For example, Sales Reps may want to jump right to their sales performance for the week, but an Owner might want to jump right to overall Revenue for the month.
So, we’ve been working on making the home screen customizable for each user via “Widgets” that you can choose and re-order to make it your own!
We’re still putting on the final touches, but you can get a head start by configuring a custom home screen via the “Widgets” toggle on the home screen. Click +Widget to add/ remove/ reorder each home screen section.

No more scrolling through the Texts screen to find unread messages. Just click “Unread”.
We can now build in a “Work Time Details” section to Bills of Lading that will break down the timestamps of each activity underpinning the hourly rate charge/ quantity. You need to use our Time Tracking feature for this to be relevant.
Reach out if interested!
We actually had already had this option available but hadn’t exposed it widely to our users. You can now turn off/ on these service questions on the Chariot web form via Settings > Web Form Configuration.

We set up automated arrival window logics (click and it pre-fills with what your company typically does) during onboarding. But we didn’t have a good way for you to change this logic… until now. Go to Settings > Estimate Configuration to customize.
Note: Your existing Arrival Window logic won’t show by default. If you customize it yourself, it will override what we’ve configured for you previously.

💪 Other small but mighty updates
Recently I've been struggling to keep up with our engineers as we push the product forward!
This is a longer update than usual, but I strongly recommend taking a skim through it all with your team to make sure you’re getting the most out of Chariot!
I’ll be back very soon with some other very exciting things we’re cooking up!
All the best,
Ian
The Time Off page has been turned into a full-fledged availability grid! It’s meant to replace the manual spreadsheet systems we see at many moving companies we’ve visited in person (list of movers in the first column, availability by day at the top).
You can more easily see the number of movers working by day, filter by role, view truck availability, and add time off by clicking/ dragging on the grid.
Set a default hourly minimum, customize it by job and by day, and Chariot automatically enforces it on the final bill.
(Note if you don’t want this on, you can toggle the feature off from Settings > Payment and Billing)
The Claims feature is now on for all moving companies, with access on by default for all roles by default except for sales-focused roles like Sales Reps and Marketers.
We’ve added more functionality as well:
You can now add statements that customers must check off in order to sign their Estimate — for acknowledging state consumer guides, confirming they read specific terms, or meeting other compliance requirements.
Add statements at the Format level via Settings → Estimate Formats, or customize them on the fly for a specific job using the FORMAT button on the Estimate tab. Statements support links and basic formatting, and customers will see them above the signature field when signing.
You can now save your signature to your Chariot account and have it displayed on the customer-facing Estimate — useful for meeting state countersigning requirements or just adding a more professional touch to your quotes.
Each user saves their own signature via Settings → Estimate Formats. Turn it on by default for any Estimate Format by checking Show Estimator's Signature, or toggle it on/off for a specific job using the FORMAT button on the Estimate tab. The signature shown is pulled from the job's Sales Owner — if there's no Sales Owner or they haven't saved a signature yet, it won't display.
You can now set up charges – like travel fees – that automatically calculate on your Estimates based on:
If you calculate your travel fee this way, we strongly suggest updating your fee / charge via Settings. Just go to Settings > Charges, find your Charge (or add one), and select a sync type of “Travel Time To & From Job (hrs) and Hourly Rate.
We updated the flow for Booking a Job or Reserving a Lead on the schedule (courtesy holds).
Place crews/ trucks onto the schedule "Tracks" all in one go! There's 1 clean dialog/ pop-up, no matter how complex the job.
You can now customize the due date of your recurring invoices (offset from the date of the invoice)
Just adjust the Setting below from Settings > General > Payment and Billing Settings
Add Time Stamped Notes
You can now add a feed of time-stamped notes to Storage Jobs (for changes, customer interactions, etc.), just like you can for move Jobs.
You can now turn on this feature, which we announced ~1 year ago, under Settings > General > Estimate configuration. If turned on, Chariot will auto-book any Lead that is reserved on the schedule as soon as the Estimate is completed.
We added a new report under Reports > Sales Forecasts called “Booking Momentum”. It tracks how revenue and jobs accumulate week by week for a job date range, helping you monitor pacing and forecast how much more you’re likely to book. You can also use recent weeks as a guide to estimate how much additional revenue you’re likely to book in the upcoming weeks.
We have some exciting updates on Chariot add-on features -- and another big one coming next week. Read more below, and grab time if you're interested in diving deeper!
Chariot already has the best integration with LiveSwitch in the industry. Now integration users can generate full inventory lists in Chariot from LiveSwitch videos using AI – no manual input required, and with you in control of the final details. No additional fees beyond your normal LiveSwitch subscription.
See more in this ~2 minute overview video!
Chariot x LiveSwitch | AI-Generated inventories from videos - Watch Video
One disclaimer: Users at your moving company can only run the AI on videos if they have a LiveSwitch seat/ license/ login.
After the AI Voice Assistant runs a customer through their inventory list, it now creates full inventory lists complete with weights, volumes, and notes -- directly on the Lead's inventory tab.
→ That means less time entering inventories manually, faster turnaround on estimates, and higher booking rates.
So far in 2026, the AI Voice Assistant has handled 145 hours of calls with customers. On average, movers using it have seen:
~$17K in additional revenue booked via AI
~14 more jobs captured
~39 more qualified leads generated
Several movers have booked $50K+ in revenue to their schedules through the AI in 2026 so far!
AI isn't perfect, and not every caller will want to talk to it. But no moving company can cover the phones 100% of the time -- and even capturing a handful of customers that would've otherwise gone to voicemail makes a significant difference to your bottom line.
Whether you're spending thousands (or tens of thousands) a month on ads and need to know what's actually working, or you're a smaller operation figuring out where to start -- the Ads & Marketing Platform is built for both: Real-time visibility into how your marketing ties to actual revenue in Chariot -- and if you're not running ads yet, we can manage them for you.
You can now see every lead we can track to a channel -- Google Ads, organic search, AI search, mailers, and more -- along with how they first engaged (web form, phone call, etc.).
Now you can see who didn't book, which channels are driving leads, which are converting, and where you're losing people.
Our Ads & Marketing Platform could already attribute phone leads to marketing sources through Google Ads call tracking and dynamic number insertion. Now we also integrate with CallRail -- one of the most widely used call tracking tools.
CallRail is popular because it goes beyond just tracking ad clicks. It dynamically swaps the phone number on your website for each visitor, so you can attribute calls to specific sources -- Google Ads, organic search, direct traffic, and more. Connecting it to Chariot means all of that attribution data flows directly into your Ads & Marketing Platform for a broader, more accurate view.
To connect, click the gear icon in the platform, then "Connect CallRail" and follow the instructions. Let us know if you need help.
There’s been a LOT we’ve been building into Chariot recently. This update highlights the big changes to the core software you all use (and Storage). I’ll be sending another update this week with news about our add-on features (AI Voice, Ads & Marketing, LiveSwitch videos) + a NEW game-changing Chariot feature we're releasing.
Please check it out with your team!
Quick highlights:
I'll be back very soon with more.

You can now set hourly minimums for jobs that will automatically display to the customer and will be enforced on the bill.
You can use a company-wide default (like 2 hours) – but also override that default to set a custom hourly minimum per job or per day of the job (example: Friday pack with 3 hour min, Saturday move with 4 hour min).
Mover reports will show actual time worked as well as the minimum time for purposes of payroll.

We are rolling out this feature first to movers who request it, and then to all our customers by mid-April.
If you’d like it on for your moving company, please let us know and tell us your default hourly minimum.
We’re releasing a Claims feature that helps moving companies:
We’ll be releasing this feature to all customers by end of April. We’re looking for movers who want access to the beta version and to give us feedback on how we can improve it.
Please reply if you’d like it on and share which users should have access. We’ll follow up with more details!
From Settings > Estimate Formats, you can finally fully customize your templated Estimate “Formats” in Chariot, which are a templated group of settings that control how the Estimate displays to the customer, including:
We’ve also added new formatting options – including text colors, highlighting, numbered list/ bulleted lists, custom spacing, and custom alignment.
Office users can now edit and add overall job notes (short job summary, general notes, office notes) directly from the “quick view” – no need to click into the separate page/ screen for the job.

You can now apply card fees by default to moves/ standard jobs, but waive them by default on storage jobs (and control which storage customers have card fees applied vs. not).
Learn more below!
You should be aware that Chariot makes it easy to send review requests - including automatically sending out review requests after your jobs are complete (learn more here).
Now, you can manage the settings for this feature on your own from Settings > Customer Reviews Configuration:
We introduce a new “synced charge” that automatically sets the price of the charge to the hourly rate.
For example, if you charge a travel fee equal 1 x the specific hourly rate for that job (or day), you can set it up as this synced charge, so that the travel charge always sets to the correct rate:

To enable this sync for your charges:
In December, we launched our Ads & Marketing Platform inside Chariot.

The core problem it solves:
Most movers spend thousands per month on marketing, but don't know what they're getting back. Their ads optimize for leads.
The biggest/best service businesses? They can track every dollar back to their ads. And their ads optimize for revenue.
With the Ads & Marketing platform, with a few minutes of setup, movers connect Google, Meta, their website, and Chariot — and instantly see:
We also automatically send offline revenue data back to Google in real time. By attaching that to your ad campaigns, Google can bid on high-value jobs, not just cheap leads.
15+ movers are live on the platform. What we're seeing:
Others are reallocating dollars to campaigns that actually work -- or having Chariot's ads team manage campaigns for them -- and are driving significantly more booked revenue.
One Real example:
Previous campaign → 1.19x ROAS
After switching → 6.4x ROAS
(And budget cut in half)

The difference? Optimizing for booked revenue, not clicks (and some disciplined campaign management behind the scenes).
If you’re running ads and not tying them directly to booked revenue, or interested in running ads but don't know where to start -- we'd love to discuss if we can help. You can schedule time below.
If you're still getting oriented to how moving company ads work -- I'd check out the webinar and Q&A we hosted back in December.
Chariot: How Moving Company Ads Actually Work + our Ads & Marketing Platform - Watch Video

Will be back soon -- big updates on the way!

Hope your 2026 is off to a good start – we’re back with some new product updates to make it even better!
Quick summary (details below 👇):
We have a lot in the works. We’ll be back very soon.
All the best,
Ian (on behalf of the Chariot team)
Reports are now organized by topic and common questions, making it easier to find the insights you’re looking for.
⭐ Star your favorite reports for easy access:
🔍 Search for reports and data you’re looking for:
We’ve also added a variety of new reports, and simplified names and descriptions of existing reports:
Note: Only applies to moving companies enrolled in Chariot payment processing
Previously, the deposit for a move was set on the “Estimate Format” (which controls intro, terms, display of charges, etc.). That meant that to request a new deposit amount, you needed to (1) add a new Format to your Chariot set up or (2) send a one-time payment link, separate from the estimate.
Now, you can set a custom deposit on any Estimate.
At the bottom of the page, click the edit button next to "Deposit". Then, select a deposit setting (flat rate, percentage based, multiple of hourly estimate, just take card on file, no deposit) based on your preference.

If you want to re-use this deposit setup on future moves, we recommend saving it as part of a new Estimate Template so it can be loaded up with just 1-2 clicks. Reach out to Support if you need help with this!
Chariot’s Ads & Marketing platform (Reports > Ads & Marketing) now gives you visibility into revenue from any marketing channel you run — including offline and “scrappier” marketing that movers rely on.
In addition to paid ads and organic traffic, you can now track booked revenue from:
…and still see Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Organic Search alongside them.
How it works, high level:
When a customer books a move, Chariot assigns a Primary Marketing Source using a simple priority order:
This keeps reporting clean and consistent — for example, ad clicks take priority over UTMs if both are present.
By default, the second page of the form now includes an optional field for customers to add details about their move beyond just the basic services needed (giving you more context upfront and helping dial in your sales calls).

Any details added by customers will display under “General notes (visible to crew)” on the Lead/Job’s Intake tab.
If you don't want this field to show, you can turn it off from Settings > General > Web Form Configuration
You can now add notes to AI Voice calls so that you (and other team members) can keep track of who has reviewed the call, key takeaways, and next steps.
Reminder: You can set custom “Saved Tags” to use on any job via Settings > General > Lead/Job Configuration.
Now, in addition to adding these saved tag from the job’s intake page, you can easily add them to the Leads / Jobs/ Archives dashboards as well! Just click into the “Tags” field for the lead/job and add/ remove your tags via the dropdown.

Hey there,
In addition to the new add-ons we’ve announced (Ads & Marketing Platform full launch, Automations beta), we’ve also shipped some meaningful upgrades to the core Chariot experience you use every day.
Quick Summary (details below 👇)
👀 Sneak peek: AI-generated inventory from LiveSwitch videos
Soon, you’ll be able to generate accurate inventory lists from videos with one click — including weights and volumes — directly inside Chariot.
More soon, but reach out if you want an early look.
📣 Quick Reminder: Ads & Marketing Platform
You can now see which ads actually drive revenue, and run campaigns optimized for booked jobs — not just leads. The result: higher ROI and clearer visibility into what’s working.
❓FYI: We re-organized our help center to make it easier to find answers and onboard new team members to Chariot. You can also still search help articles in the chat widget in the bottom-left of Chariot.
As always, more to come soon.
Ian (on behalf of the Chariot team)
We've been renaming reports to be more intuitive, adding highly requested new ones, and making navigation much easier.
New reports available now:
Added Sales Owner filter to:
Preview of what's coming soon!

Webhooks let Chariot send real-time events to other tools the moment something happens. Paired with Zapier or Make.com, you can automate a ton of functionality.
Common use cases:
Sounds technical, but setup is straightforward. We go over some real examples step-by-step right here!
Many movers (especially weight-based) bill packing via per-container, pack, and unpack rates. This is now fully supported in Chariot on Estimates and Bills of Lading/ Invoices.
Before this update, the Chariot team could set up these charges for you, and you could generate this billing on estimates using the “Includes Labor” toggle on the Packing section. But it didn't fully translate on the billing side.
Setting up / editing charges
Go to Settings > Charges. When editing or creating a charge with a Category of Packing or Materials, use the dropdowns to set separate Container/Pack/Unpack rates.

Using on Estimates
Toggle on “Includes Labor” to use this billing method on an Estimate (or build it into Estimate Templates). Container and pack rates will sync for any boxes set up as synced to CP inventory items.

Using on Bills of Lading
When adding a box/ materials charge to a Bill of Lading, if “Includes Labor” is toggled on for the Estimate’s packing section, the crew will see the option to set container/ pack/ unpack rates on each charge. Imported packing charges will automatically apply each rate.
The charges display cleanly on the final bill of lading and invoice – no manual, confusing-looking grids!

The job preview now includes clear actions to:
Fewer clicks, faster navigation.
When hourly rates are synced with work times, the associated date now appears directly on the charge — making multi-day jobs much easier to read on BoLs and invoices.

We finally we made inventory tab mobile-friendly! Use your phone to take inventory wherever you are – whether an onsite, your truck, or your couch!

We upgraded customers to our newest voice model – and our AI Voice Assistant now sounds noticeably more natural, emotive, and realistic.
This means smoother conversations, less lag, and overall better efficiency, which we expect to translate into more completed intakes and time savings!
If you do moves outside the United States, you can enable non-US addresses from 2 settings:
(1) Settings > General > Lead/Job Configuration > Allow non-US addresses: This enables non-US addresses on the office side of Chariot
(2) Settings > General > Web Form Configuration > Allow non-US addresses on web form: Allows your customers to input international addresses on your Chariot-provided web form.
Once enabled, you can toggle on and enter international addresses for any job’s location:

For example, this can be helpful to track follow-up calls that you need to make at specific times requested by the customer.

From the Office Calendar, click / press PRINT, select the users you want to print an agenda for (you can select multiple to print agendas for multiple people at once – similar to our print Work Orders feature on the Job Schedule.
Chariot will generate a nicely styled-PDF, ready to print and hand to your team members!
Chariot now automatically saves a CSV/ spreadsheet file of many Reports that you run, so that you can easily reference back to them instead of needing to re-run from scratch.
We’ve begun rolling this out moving companies using Chariot, and everyone should see it by the end of next week!
Much more to come on Reporting enhancements very soon!
I’m back with another big one we've had in the works: Chariot Automations.
You’ve already seen some built-in automations in Chariot — things like sending welcome messages when leads submit forms, estimate reminders, or payment receipts.
But this new feature goes much further:

Put manual tasks on autopilot — saving time and driving more revenue.
We’re opening a small early-access group to shape this first version and get the biggest impact right away. Early adopters will work closely with our team, share feedback, and help prioritize what comes next.
👉 Join the waitlist now if you're interested!
We've also been making some exciting upgrades to the core Chariot features that you're using today -- I'll have more to share next week.
- Ian
We’re tackling a common (and costly) problem for movers: expensive, inefficient ad spend.
Too often, we see:
So -- we’re rolling out a new Chariot Ads/Marketing Platform. It connects your ad accounts and website to your Chariot account in minutes, and lets you:

If you’ve ever wondered which ads actually make you money, if your agency is giving you the full picture on their ROI, or if your moving company could benefit from running more ads (but don't have the time/ expertise) -- we're here to help.
We’re inviting a limited group of early customers to get access first.
👉 Join the waitlist now to be part of the first rollout.
More to come on this and other new Chariot tools for you!
