Hi there,
We’re excited to announce our long awaited Customer Management feature! This new feature allows you to group multiple jobs under a single customer profile and view associated information (like invoices, payments, etc) in one place.
This feature is to work alongside Chariot’s leads/jobs pages, giving you greater visibility into your repeat business.
It will be available for all Chariot customers starting Monday 1/13.
Best,
The Chariot Team
👥 Customer Management
âť“ Why we built this
To simplify CRM organization by making it possible to group jobs under customer profiles, providing more insight into your operations.
đź’ˇ How it works
-
“Possible Repeat Customer” Flag: Jobs with matching names, phone numbers, or emails (or a combination of these) will display a possible repeat customer flag.
-
Link Existing Jobs to a Customer Profile: Click “View” on the possible repeat customer flag to associate a job with a customer profile. You can proceed to link the job to a customer by clicking “Link Job to this Customer”
-
Merging Customer Profiles: You can merge multiple customers into a single profile on the Customers CRM page. After selecting multiple customers and clicking Bulk Actions > Merge Customers, Chariot will combine matches based on shared information (name, email, phone). Note: Merging is irreversible, so please double-check before proceeding.
-
Creating a New Lead for a Repeat Customer:
Suggested matches dropdown when adding a lead for a commercial customer
-
Commercial Customers: Commercial customers/jobs will use the company name and main contact email and phone for matching purposes.
-
Viewing Customer Jobs, Invoices, Payments and Balances: All customer financial information is now accessible in one place via the new Customers CRM and Customer Profile pages. You’ll see tabs for Moving Jobs, Storage Jobs, Invoices, and Payments, so you can see information across customer’s jobs all in one place.
