Hi there,

It’s been a month since our last update—behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work on major Chariot improvements. Check out what’s new in March, and stay tuned for more very soon in April as we roll out new tools to support your team this busy season.

Your feedback, questions, and ideas about Chariot fuel our engineering efforts. Reach out anytime!

🤖 Preview + opportunity for input: Chariot’s AI Intake Assistant

Is your team ever:

  • Losing jobs because customers call after hours and you can't follow up before a competitor does?
  • Struggling to reach leads at the right time to talk about their move?
  • Unsure which new leads are most qualified and worth prioritizing?
  • Wishing you had more context about each move before you call, so you can personalize your sales pitch?
  • Wasting hours each week asking the same basic intake questions?

Imagine if:

  • Customers could go through a personalized intake flow by phone or chat when no one’s available to answer their call.
  • They could do it anytime—on their terms.
  • And those leads showed up in Chariot with everything your team needs: context, upsell interest, and info to help close the sale.

We’ve been building a customizable AI-powered chat + voice intake experience to make this possible — and we’re looking for movers to test it out and tell us what would make it even better.

⭐ Other Major Product Updates

👤🗓️ Monthly schedule: daily “mini-maps!”

Chariot’s month view shows your leads, jobs and mover/ truck capacity by day. But a day’s truck and mover capacity doesn’t tell the whole story. For example, can you slot in a small afternoon job without adding more crews? Maybe you can staff another crew, but only for labor-only jobs?

Now when you hover over a day, Chariot shows a “mini-map" reflecting how the schedule looks for the day – telling you at a glance what’s available without having to click through each day’s schedule.

⛔📧 Turn off automatic emails and texts on jobs

From the Customer Overview section of the intake tab, you can now toggle OFF customers receiving automated emails and texts (estimate reminders, pre move reminders, post move reviews, etc.).

For example, you may want to turn off auto-emails/ texts for repeat commercial customers where the main contact doesn’t need to get transactional messages.

Before we release it widely (soon!), we’re doing final testing of this feature for a few movers who had this as a top priority – if you want early access too, reach out.

📈📊 New homepage “widgets” / insights beta

Owners and Managers will now see a “beta” version of Homepage that includes “widgets” of insights that you can view and sort in the order you wish. We’ve added 3 widgets to start:

  • (1) Leads created, estimates sent, and jobs booked
  • (2) Revenue and # jobs booked by sales owner
  • (3) Number of leads generated by source

Each widget can be filtered by today, this week, or this month.

The future: transitioning the homepage to a set of widgets that each user can customize based on what they want to see!

🔔 Sounds for new notifications

Missing any important notifications?

If so, now you can turn on a sound for them!

🚚⌚ Option to show each mover a report of jobs and times worked

We can now turn on a setting that allows movers (or select movers) to view their work times (and hourly pay, if pay management is turned on) for their previous jobs.

This may be helpful if you want to give your movers transparency into the information you’re using to calculate payroll, and get ahead of any disagreements re: pay owed ahead of running payroll.

If you'd like this feature on -- let us know!

👶💪 Small but mighty updates

  • The office calendar now dynamically starts the day at 7-8am local time (earlier if you have an earlier event) – it previously started at midnight, which made it harder to review.
  • Moving companies now have the option to hide the packing and storage services questions from the Chariot web forms – let us know if you’d like this option turned on (you’ll be able to do it yourself soon)!
  • You can now use filters on the Archive screens, which show all historical jobs. There was previously a bug impacting filtering capabilities.
  • All “date pickers” in Chariot (schedule, job dates, reports) are now Sunday-Saturday format (some were previously Monday - Sunday)
  • Mobile home is now an available location type you can choose for move locations
  • The Resources > Time Off screen (where you can mark days off for movers and trucks) is now faster to load/ work with
