You can now select multiple documents on a project's Documents tab and move them all into a folder in one shot, instead of dragging them over one at a time. Hover over a row and a checkbox shows up; once you've selected a few, a bar appears with a running count and a Move to Folder button right next to it. You can move items into any folder or send them back out to All Documents, and your selections stick even while you search, so you can grab a few documents, search for more, and keep adding to the same batch. If a move only partially goes through, the notification tells you how many made it and keeps the ones that failed checked, so you're not hunting for them again. If you've ever organized a project with a couple hundred files in it, this one's for you.

You can now insert page breaks anywhere in a CompanyCam document, so you control exactly which content shows at the top of a page. Use the toolbar or the keyboard shortcut Cmd+Enter, the same shortcut Google Docs and Microsoft Word use, so if you know it there, you already know it here, too. It's a small control that makes a real difference on reports headed to a homeowner or adjuster, where you want the cover photo and summary landing exactly where you intend.

Two updates shipped for proposals: you can now set markup on individual line items instead of one blanket number for the whole proposal, and you can mark specific line items or pricebook items as non-taxable so they're excluded from the tax calculation automatically. Together, these give you a lot more control when a proposal mixes labor, materials, and tax-exempt items, without fudging the math or working around it outside CompanyCam.

You can now send a proposal or invoice to a homeowner by email without ever leaving CompanyCam. Open the document, hit send, and it goes straight to their inbox. This is live on the web today, with mobile coming soon.

This is available to every user role, so no permission change needed to start using it. If you still prefer sending a link yourself, that option is sticking around too. It's here because you asked for it: homeowners were getting confused by bare links, and your team was stuck jumping out to email just to get a document over. Now the whole thing happens in one place.

If you connect CompanyCam to other software or use AI tools to automate parts of your business, this update is for you. Two changes landed this week that give you more direct access to your own data through the CompanyCam API and MCP integration, so you can build with it instead of just looking at it.

Documents Can Now Be Created and Edited Through the API, Not Just Read

Until now, the API and MCP integration could only pull existing Documents (formerly called Pages) out of CompanyCam. You could read them, but you couldn't build new ones or make changes through that connection. That's changed: you can now draft and edit Documents and reports directly through the API and MCP. If you run an integration or an AI tool that generates project reports, it can write a finished document straight into CompanyCam the moment a job wraps, using your latest photos, without anyone opening the app to build it by hand. This is available now to anyone using the CompanyCam API or MCP integration.

Time Tracking Data Is Now Readable Through the API

Clock-in and clock-out entries are now available to pull through the CompanyCam API, filterable by user, project, date range, or status. If you send CompanyCam data into payroll, project costing, or another back-office system, you can pull time data directly instead of exporting it by hand. The team is also building tools to pull pay-period totals and other summaries in one call, so anyone building payroll workflows won't need to add up individual entries one at a time. This is live now for anyone with API or MCP access.

Your billing history page now holds twenty-four invoices instead of ten. If you've ever needed an old receipt for bookkeeping, an audit, or a customer request and hit a wall after ten, that's gone. You can find it yourself now instead of contacting our support team to track it down and send it to you. This is live on every account today.

Every social post Marketing Suite creates for you starts with what your company actually sounds like, not a generic template. This update brings two changes: captions that reflect your company's own voice, and hashtags that show up on every post without you retyping them.

Brand Voice

Marketing Suite now builds a starting brand voice from your company website, then uses it to write the captions that go out with every social post. You can edit that voice anytime under Business Locations > Brand Profile > Social Captions, so if the starting point doesn't quite sound like you yet, a quick tweak fixes it. Think of it as your company's core character: it might read more casual on one platform and more professional on another, but the voice underneath stays consistent no matter where the post lands. If your crew has strong opinions about how the business should sound online, or you're just tired of generic-sounding social posts, this means less editing before you approve anything Marketing Suite creates for you.

Custom Hashtags

Alongside brand voice, Marketing Suite now lets you set hashtags that automatically attach to every post, so you're not retyping the same tags every time. Set them once under your business location settings and they carry through from there on out. It's a small change, but if you post regularly, it saves the same few minutes of manual work every time and keeps your hashtag strategy consistent even when you're not the one hitting publish.

You can now tap any photo in a project and set it as that project's cover photo. It sounds small, but if you're managing a dozen jobs at once, the cover photo is often the only thing you see when you're scanning your project list to find the right one. Choose from the project, upload or take a photo, so the photo actually tells you what the job is, a finished exterior, a distinctive feature, or whatever makes it recognizable at a glance.

You can now customize the font color on your docs using a color picker, live now on web. If your company has brand colors, this means the photo reports and other docs you send to customers can actually look like they came from you, not from a generic template. It's a small detail, but it's the kind of thing that adds up when a homeowner is comparing quotes from three different contractors, and yours is the one that looks put together.

Every conversation on a project now lives in one place. The new Conversations Hub, found in the left nav on web and the chat bubble on mobile, is now live. You can reply, mention teammates, and attach photos, checklists, or files without leaving the thread or hopping between projects to track down who said what. If you've ever dug through texts, emails, and old comments trying to find where a conversation left off, this puts it all in one feed sorted by what's new and unread. It's live for every user on mobile and desktop now.
