We were thrilled to see your positive feedback on the Insights page, and it inspired us to take things further! πŸŽ‰

To empower every user, we’re introducing personal contribution insights. While company analytics remain exclusive to administrators, you can now dive into your own data and see how your work is driving impact.

By clicking the My Contributions tab on the Insights page in the dScribe catalog, you’ll discover:

✨ How much have I contributed? Get a clear overview of your contributions in the web portal or browser plugin. Track your activity level and find out where you have been most engaged during the month.

πŸ“Š How often is my documentation used? Monitor the total views of the assets you’ve contributed to. Discover which documents are attracting the most attention from others and identify your most popular contributions.

Check out your Personal Insights today and see what difference you can make. πŸš€

Catalog plugin: Immersive mode

Say hello to the new viewer experience in the dScribe catalog plugin: Immersive mode! πŸš€

With Immersive mode, we’ve improved the user interface for better readability and made accessing documentation more intuitive.
End users can seamlessly explore linked definitions and related content and navigate through assets.

Administrators now have more control and can ensure end users get the right information when needed. For users with editing rights, the editable panel is still available so they can document, explore relationships, and add hotspots. If a report has not yet been documented, end users can request this and inform editors of the need for specific documentation.

Watch the demo video we've created to see our new feature in action.

Give it a try, and share your feedback with us! 🧭

Catalog Plugin: Hotspots

You asked and we answered. Hotspots are coming to the dScribe catalog plugin.

The response to the first version of our plugin was very positive, but some of you had some valid remarks:

  • Can you add documentation per tab in your PowerBi report?
  • Is it possible to add descriptions (and images, mentions, ...) to certain widgets on the page
  • Can I reuse the same definition in multiple places in my report?

The answer is Hotspots!

We're not stopping here! More improvements are on the way in the upcoming weeks.
If you have any questions or feedback, please share them with us.
