Link guides inside a guide

Daan avatar
Shared by Daan • August 18, 2025

You can now link guides inside your guide, making it easy to create modular, focused walkthroughs.

Linked guides will appear as a preview card showing the title, app icon, number of steps and creation date. This lets readers move seamlessly between related guides, whether in the web app or plugin, without having to use external hyperlinks.

Now in closed Beta: Multi-Lingual User Manuals 🌐

Tim avatar
Shared by Tim • May 20, 2025

Hi there,

Today, many companies operate across borders, with teams and users who speak a variety of languages beyond English. Delivering clear, localized communication is essential for providing a great user experience.

Key features:

  • Multi-language Management: Create and manage multiple versions of the same article for each supported language, ensuring your content is relevant and accessible to all users.
  • Linked Language Versions: Each guide has a default language and can be linked to translated versions, helping you preserve a unified content structure across all languages.
  • Auto translate: we added the option, when creating a new language version of a guide, to translate it automatically to the language of choice. Need to tweak some things? We got you covered! You can adjust all translations manually.

Interested in giving it a try? Reach out to us and we’ll get you onboarded.

Shared by Rayane • April 25, 2025

📢 We are proud to announce that dScribe has officially achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification! 📢

At dScribe, security has always been a top priority — and now it’s recognized at the highest international standard. ISO 27001 certification means our approach to data protection, risk management, and information security is not only strong, but independently verified.

Why it matters:
As a documentation platform, we know our customers trust us with sensitive, business-critical information. This certification is part of our ongoing commitment to earning and maintaining that trust — by making sure their data is safe, available, and protected.

How we got here:
Over the past few months, our team worked closely with external auditors to assess and validate the security controls, processes, and systems we’ve put in place across the company. It's a big milestone, and just one step on our journey to continuous improvement.

User Management in dScribe Guide

Rayane avatar
Shared by Rayane • March 17, 2025

Managing roles and permissions just got easier! We’ve introduced a streamlined way to control access and ensure seamless collaboration across your workspaces and organization.

There are two levels of permissions:

  1. Organization Roles: Manage users, security, and overall organization settings.
  2. Workspace Roles: Control content management and access within specific workspaces.

📌 Note: All users who have already been added to your organization will automatically be assigned the Global Admin role.

  • What is a Global Admin?
A Global Admin has full access to organization settings, user management, and the ability to create workspaces. They hold complete rights across the system.
  • How can I manage who gets this permission?
If you want to adjust who holds Global Admin access, simply head to the Organization Settings page by clicking your profile icon.

Check more details here for full insights on roles and permissions.

Catalog plugin: Immersive mode

Rayane avatar
Shared by Rayane • February 20, 2025

Say hello to the new viewer experience in the dScribe catalog plugin: Immersive mode! 🚀

With Immersive mode, we’ve improved the user interface for better readability and made accessing documentation more intuitive.
End users can seamlessly explore linked definitions and related content and navigate through assets.

Administrators now have more control and can ensure end users get the right information when needed. For users with editing rights, the editable panel is still available so they can document, explore relationships, and add hotspots. If a report has not yet been documented, end users can request this and inform editors of the need for specific documentation.

Watch the demo video we've created to see our new feature in action.

Give it a try, and share your feedback with us! 🧭
