Overview Adding individual recipients to a mass communication just got easier! Search now finds parents by their student's name, shows you more detail about each person, and lets you upload a whole list of recipients at once.

Find the right person, faster When you need to add specific people to a message, searching used to give you just a name and a photo - which made it hard to tell people apart or find a parent when you only knew their child's name. Now the search works the way you actually think.

Search by student name and find their parents: Type a student's name and your results will now include both the student and that student's parents. No more needing to know a parent's exact name to reach them.

See who you're adding: Each search result now shows:

• The person's role so you know exactly who they are
• Their related student if the person is a parent, so you can confirm you've got the right family

Add a whole list at once Already have a list of recipients exported from another system? Instead of searching for each person one by one, you can now upload a spreadsheet directly from the people search card. If you're uploading student IDs, you can even choose to include the related parents automatically.

How to use it

• Search: Start typing a name (student or otherwise) and pick from the detailed results
• Bulk upload: Open the people search card, choose the upload option, and add your spreadsheet of recipients

Perfect for

• Reaching a family when you only know the student's name
• Telling people apart in a long list of similar names
• Adding a large ad-hoc group from a list exported from your SIS or another system
• Quickly pulling in parents of a specific set of students

This makes building a one-off recipient list quicker and more accurate, whether you're adding a couple of people or a few hundred.
