🎤 A major glow-up for Speakers

The Speakers component has had a complete UX and UI uplift, now with a filter plus website and social profiles, so attendees can go straight from a session to learning more about the speaker. New App Builder settings let you choose what shows on the speaker list, including biography excerpts, presentation keywords, titles and session roles.

Build a custom attendee list

📋 Build a custom attendee list

Select, re-size and re-order the columns in your attendee list, per event. Your layout is saved per user and per event, so every time you open an event you land straight on the information that matters most to you. Use the new column icon to choose what to include, including user-defined and custom fields, then drag to move and resize columns, and re-order the list by any column.

Add multiple copies of dashboard widgets, then name and filter each one to suit your needs. Want to see Money Outstanding for three different groups of registrants, or compare all contacts with those who attended last year? Now you can. The Event Information widget has also been streamlined with a past, running or upcoming flag.

🤖 Planner Assistant gets even more helpful

The Planner Assistant beta has been extended to December 1, and this month brings a round of upgrades to make it quicker to get started:

  • Conversation history: Now available, so you can return to an earlier question and continue where you left off.
  • Prompt suggestions on the home screen: A rotating pool of suggested questions helps you get started.
  • Menu on the landing page: A menu now sits in the top left, so you can reach charts and dashboards without asking a question first.
  • Opens on the event you're working on: Events are now sorted by date proximity, defaulting to the one closest to today.

📌 Additional updates this month

  • New EventsAir Connect app for Stripe – If you use Stripe Checkout or a third-party Stripe Payment Gateway, please update your connection now to use our new EventsAir Connect app in the Stripe App Marketplace, for a more streamlined e-commerce gateway connection
  • EventStream reporting, for attendees and planners – Attendee App users can now report posts or comments in EventStream. In EventStream Manager, a new "Review reported" checkbox and visual indicators help you spot reported content quickly. Reported items show a red flag, which turns gray once the content has been edited to show it's been reviewed
  • Search for Custom Fields – Search is now available for Custom Fields and Custom Field Tabs, so you can quickly find the one you need without remembering which module you set it up in
  • Session surveys include session names – The session name now appears in both the raw data and Excel exports, so you can easily see which session each response belongs to
  • Easier-to-read long names and tooltips – Truncated text can now be viewed in full by hovering over it, and some text now wraps, across the Alerts Panel (Accommodation Matrix), Express Actions, Communications and Reporting Panel
  • Cleaner Exhibitor Search settings – The Exhibitor Search component settings in the App Builder have a tidier layout and clearer labels, making it easier to configure exhibitor information for the Attendee App
  • Allocated column in Accommodation reporting – The Accommodation Group Inventory List report now includes an "Allocated" column
  • Bulk Add Engage Points warning – This Express Action now warns you that manually awarding points for item-based goals may result in duplicate points if the same goal is later completed in the Attendee App
