Hope you’ve had a great week, there👋

We’ve been tuning things up this week to make Factory even more powerful for your team. Here’s what’s landed:

📱 Factory Mobile New Features:

  • Workflow on Mobile: You can now access and manage Workflow directly from the Factory Mobile app — making it even easier to stay productive while you're on the move.

📲 Make sure you’ve got the latest version of Factory Mobile app - available on both Android and iOS.

🚀 New Features & Enhancements:

  • Time Tracking: We've added setting to Require Order # when adding time entry. Once enabled Order # will be required field when adding time entry or clocking in
  • Price Format on PDFs: We’ve improved number formatting on PDFs and drawings — prices now include comma separators, making them much easier to read at a glance
  • Delivery Scheduling: Added a scrollbar to the Vehicle View when generating a Run Sheet — handy when managing a high volume of deliveries
  • More Custom Column Types: Admins can now add Checkbox, Date and Time Picker, Date Picker, and URL fields to custom columns — giving you even more flexibility in structuring your data.

🔧 Additional Tweaks:

  • A scrollbar has been added to the Material list when adding a Product via Add product in Purchase Orders, making it easier to view all materials
  • You can now modify and delete predefined lengths for Lineal Metre and Square Metre Products within Product Kits once they’ve been added to a Sales Order
  • Labour and Product quantities in Kits are now correctly included in margin calculations for Sales Orders
  • The Total ($) excl. Tax field is now hidden for users assigned the Standard – No Pricing role
  • We’ve resolved an issue where the Custom Price field in drawings would revert to its previous value
  • Preferred Supplier’s pricing is now displayed by default when adding a Product to a Purchase Order.

We’re constantly refining Factory to help your team succeed — don’t miss what’s coming next week!

Cheers,
Team Factory
