Link Preview Now Uses Decedent’s City

You may have noticed that when sharing an obituary, the "link preview" text displayed the city where your funeral home is located. Initially, we thought this was the best way to generate the link preview, but after receiving valuable feedback from funeral homes like yours, we’ve made an important change: the link preview will now display the city where the decedent’s primary address is located, as recorded on the death certificate.

These link previews appear in various places, including social media, text messages, and emails. By showing the decedent’s city, the link preview will better reflect their personal story and help avoid any confusion—especially when your funeral home serves families from different cities.

If the decedent’s city is not available or left blank, no city will appear in the link preview, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
