Running events with assigned seating?
We've rebuilt our seat map builder from the ground up, giving you a faster, smoother and easier way to manage your venue layout all within Humanitix.
What's new?
While retaining much of the existing seat map tools, we've thrown in a couple of updates, just to name a few:
- Updated interface and navigation.
- More flexibility in creating single rows or blocks of rows and adjusting curve, rotation, and spacing.
- Visually highlight and label "accessible" and "restricted view" seating for buyers at checkout
- Change colours of mapped ticket types.
- Intuitive "error" handling to ensure all your seats are mapped, and you don't oversell or undersell.
- Toggleable grid background and "snap to grid" feature to keep your elements inline.
- Automatically remove row labels such as "I", "O", and "Q"
- Create custom "Area" and "Object" polygon shapes.
- Add a "Focal point" to enable a quick "Find best available seats" option for buyers, creating a rapid checkout experience.
- Upload reference images of your venue layout to make building your layout easier.
How do I try it out?
You can opt in to use the seat map builder on your next or existing events by enabling it through our Insider program.
We'll soon replace the old seat map builder entirely, so we recommend trying out the new version today! Got any feedback? We'd love to hear it.
