Multiple Contracts on a Booking + Checklist Enhancement

What's New?

We’ve introduced the ability to manage Multiple Contracts on a Single Booking within Lavanda PMS, along with an enhanced Booking Checklist to accommodate this new functionality. These updates provide greater flexibility and efficiency in contract management, ensuring clarity and ease of use for all users.

Key Features:

Multiple Contracts on a Single Booking

  • Add Unlimited Contracts: Users can now associate multiple contracts with a single booking.
  • Void Contracts Individually: If a contract is sent accidentally, it can now be explicitly voided on a per-contract basis.
  • Resend Contracts with New Entries: Resending a contract creates a new contract item in the PMS, while the previous contract can be voided for clarity.
  • Streamlined Operations: The Edit Booking Sidebar now consolidates actions for resending, voiding, or managing contracts into one streamlined process.

Note: Currently, the Edit Booking Sidebar targets the oldest contract in a booking by default. This approach is optimised for the majority of use cases, which involve single-contract bookings.

Checklist Tab Update

  • The Booking Checklist has been relocated to its own dedicated tab, ensuring that the display of multiple contracts is both clear and user-friendly, without being restricted by the limited UI space on the Booking Summary.


Why Have We Made This Change?

By enabling multiple contracts and updating the checklist feature, we’re improving flexibility in booking management and ensuring that the PMS meets the needs of all users, regardless of complexity.

Impact:

These improvements are available to all users of the Lavanda PMS.

Availability:

This feature improvement is now available as of 7th January 2025.

Getting Started:

To manage multiple contracts or access the enhanced checklist, log into Lavanda PMS and navigate to the Booking Summary or Edit Booking Sidebar. These features are immediately accessible.
