The Update: Based on partner input, we refreshed our milestone submission pages in the LightReach portal, focused on making statuses and notes simpler for partners to navigate.
Introducing:
A clear status banner at the top of the Account Page, taking your team directly to the new Flag Checklist:

The new Flag Checklist, located at the top of the Milestone Package groups flags into issues that require immediate attention and those that can be resolved in the next submittal - no more scrolling through the package to find flags!

Each item has a Flag Action Page containing detailed notes and a direct link to the applicable Knowledge Base article:

Flag Statuses will show "ready for review" or "not resolved" to better track issue resolution and support the automation of the re-review process.
Note: All "Action Required" flags must be resolved to resubmit package:

Standardized Communication: Missed requirements and detailed issues flagged by the QC Team will be added to each flag. This enables consistent communication around issues and useful reporting around frequent drivers of rejections.
The Fine Print:
These updates can also be referenced in our Milestone Requirements: Overview article:
The Update: Effective 5/29, LightReach will be stepping up to own the SolarEdge warranty application process. As such, the proof of extended warranty coverage for SolarEdge will no longer be required for M2.
The Update: Recognition of Assignment (ROA) is now included with all LightReach contracts in Pennsylvania and Ohio markets as of May 5th.
The Details:
The Update: Two items will be added to our installation milestone requirements.
The Timing: Going live 5/15
The Background: These inputs are kept straightforward for our partners so no one is slowed down, and securing this data at install helps us greatly in our efforts post-install.
Whats Changing:
Starting on Monday, 5/5, enrolling in (or opting out of) the Palmetto Retail Electricity Plan becomes a requirement for all Texas Lightreach customers. Customers can opt out, but the default is "on".
The Why:
Value – Customers will get an automatic 20% discount on their utility bill until PTO.
Making it "default-on" reflects what we know: homeowners are better off, EPCs want it.
The Bottom Line:
This improves customer experience, simplifies for EPCs, and strengthens our competitive edge.

The Update: Arbitrage Batteries can now be selected and sold with LightReach systems in Arizona. Authorized personnel may request access to arbitrage battery pricing in AZ by selecting the "Installer: Organizations Settings" option when chatting into LightReach support.
The Background: Arizona's large utilities’ export-credit net-metering policy and the mandatory time-of-use rates present opportunities for customers to maximize their post-solar value recognition by pairing their Solar Lease with a low(er) cost arbitrage-only battery system. Therefore, we are now allowing arbitrage-only battery systems with LightReach Solar leases in Arizona.
The Fine Print:
The Headline: LightReach milestones now require new M2 incentive deliverables in Florida and Texas.
The Activation (M2) Update:
The Fine Print: New requirements in effect for new M2 submissions are live as of March 31, 2025. This means that a job sold in February which is M2 submitted on April 1st must have the required documents uploaded to the designated Incentive Section within the activation package. These documents are required as LightReach is participating in the Green-E incentive program.
The Update: All Massachusetts Partners will now have access to 0% Escalator in MA.
