Issue identified: Exporting e-mails from manually crawled pages (Marketo only)

We have identified a bug that prevents successful email exports to Marketo when the email contains content from a tile manually created using the "manual crawler" (+ sign next to the filter) in the content library (left part of the interface).

Our team is actively working to pinpoint the cause and implement a resolution as quickly as possible.

Temporary Resolution

If you are a Marketo user and need to:

• Use an already manually created tile, or
• Add a new page to Magnity for immediate email building and export,

Please send the page(s) you need added to one of the following contacts:

When added via our back-end application, the issue does not occur, and the tiles will function correctly.

Updates

UPDATE: Nov. 27th - 2024: Issue is identified. When we crawl a page manually, some images we crawl are very large (file size). Therefore when we send them to Marketo, they get rejected. We are looking into running a service that reduces the filesize of images that are too large. We have such a service for images crawled upon implementation, but need to deploy it when we take images and add them to an email from manually crawled pages.
