Scheduled Maintenance Update
We’re notifying all users that we’ve successfully updated Magnity from our development environment to our live environment. This rollout includes several new features and fixes.
Upload documents manually and use them as tiles:
You can now manually upload documents to Magnity and use them as tiles. Currently, we support PDF files only, but more formats will be supported soon. If you need to use another format, please convert it to PDF first.
You’ll find this new functionality via the + icon next to the filters.
If you have a link to a publicly available PDF, you can also insert the link and upload the PDF that way. However, some websites may restrict crawlers like Magnity from accessing these links. If uploading fails, simply download the PDF and upload it as a file instead.
Important: There is a minor bug requiring Umbraco support to synchronize certain files on Monday. This means document uploads, save and delete project will not work until the sync is complete. Unfortunately, we cannot perform this sync ourselves due to a bug in Umbraco.
Once the sync is done, we’ll display a banner warning you that the interface may go offline briefly during the day. Please keep an eye out.
MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) Login:
We’re proud to announce that we’ve now achieved SOC 2 certification for IT security. As part of this, you will now be prompted to verify your login via multi-factor authentication (MFA).
You have two options:
1. Authenticator app: Download an app like Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator, scan the QR code shown, and enter the verification code from the app.
2. Magic link: Alternatively, you can choose to receive a one-time login link via email.
Currently, MFA is required every time you log in. We’re working on a feature that remembers your verification and reduces the frequency of prompts. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to use one of the available MFA options in the meantime.
This update also comes with a small redesign of the login page—more polished and professional.
Delete a project:
You can now delete a project directly from the project overview. Simply click the three vertical dots on the project tile and select "Delete project".
Note: You can only delete projects you own, unless you’re an admin.
Duplicate a project:
You can now duplicate any open project using the top bar. This creates an exact copy in a new tab, which you can save under a different project name.
This feature is especially useful for building flows or reminder emails based on existing content. The duplicated project includes all chat history and settings from the last saved version of the original.
If you’ve made changes you want included in the duplicate, make sure to save first.
Sticky personas:
Personas are now "sticky"—they remain visible at the top of the screen as you scroll. This makes it easier to compare outputs across different persona variants.
Manual email entry:
We’ve fixed a bug that prevented the subject line and preheader from being saved correctly when adding emails manually. This should now work as intended.
Project filters:
When accessing your projects page, the default view now shows “Projects you own”, making the interface less cluttered.
To switch views (e.g., “All projects” or “Projects shared with you”), use the filter in the upper right corner.
Additional interface improvements:
We’ve resolved several minor UI issues, including a refreshed design for the Crawl URL section, improving overall usability.

We hope you enjoy the new features and fixes
