Expanded Material Support - Preparations are Underway!

We’ve made a set of updates to prepare the platform for supporting additional raw materials (beyond plastics). While most changes are behind-the-scenes, you’ll notice a few improvements, specifically around Materials, Haves/Inventory, and Needs.

Improved "Create Material" Forms

• New search capability to find material properties faster.
• New, optional review step when creating materials.
• Support for uploading multiple images and other documents (such as TDS).
• Note: Creating a new material from the main menu is no longer available. You can still create materials by going to your company profile (left sidebar) and selecting New Material from the Actions menu. You can also create ongoing and spot materials as part of the New Inventory and New Have forms.

New Filtering for Materials, Haves, and Needs

• A new filtering experience makes it easier to narrow results by both typical and advanced material properties.
• Includes searchable properties, so you can quickly find the exact field you want to filter on.

Export Improvements

• All Exports along with the Activity by Material CSV which is part of Management Reports, now include Material Category.

Additional Notes

• Exporting your material list is no longer supported.
• Filtering by material properties is no longer supported in the Reporting module.
