We are thrilled to share that Otus President and Co-Founder, Chris Hull, is a finalist in the Founder/CEO category for the EdTech Digest Leadership Awards.
Chris’s transition from educator to EdTech leader was born from a simple goal: helping teachers see the "whole child" by consolidating data into meaningful insights. As he leads Otus into the future of AI in education, he remains dedicated to ensuring these tools are used to build trust and drive real success for students and educators alike. Thank you, Chris, for everything you do each day!

"I have been teaching for 17 years. 18 of those years I taught Math, and I currently teach Science. Otus is a great way to have the students experience difficult topics with a visual and tactile experience. It helps them to understand the topic on a deeper level that cannot be done with a lecture and worksheets." -Gabby Veith
Gabby continues to make a meaningful impact in the classroom by thoughtfully integrating Otus into her instruction. She has graded an impressive 1,230 Advanced Assessments and has gone the extra mile by hosting her own internal training to help fellow educators discover the value of these tools. Gabby’s commitment to both student learning and supporting her colleagues highlights the powerful role educators play in building strong learning communities. Thank you, Gabby, for your dedication and leadership! 👏

"Otus has been an incredible tool in my educational toolbox. I use Otus to do standards checks throughout the semester. This allows both my students and me to clearly see which areas need the most support. Based on the results, I can then group students within Otus according to the standards they collectively do not understand. Otus's analytics page is an incredible way for students to see how well they did on a test and what they need to work on in the future. This data is a great resource for me when I am reflecting on entire units. Being able to see where students are struggling the most helps me reflect on the way I taught the content. The ability to have clear and concise data to indicate areas in which I can improve has helped me become a much better teacher. We did not have great testing software prior to Otus. Now we have a reliable platform that is user-friendly for the teachers & students. Grade passback has saved me so much time at the end of the school day. Being able to quickly make changes to tests that students are actively taking has been a great relief for me. From the students' end, having a student-friendly user interface has eliminated the need for additional instructional time, students know exactly where to go to access assessments." - Nick Feldman
Nick has truly embraced Otus as a tool for growth and reflection. By thoughtfully using data to guide instruction, support students, and reflect on his own practice, he models what intentional teaching looks like. His focus on clarity, efficiency, and student understanding has made a meaningful impact in the classroom. We’re excited to recognize Nick’s dedication, adaptability, and the care he brings to his students every day. Congratulations, Nick! 👏
