New ISO/NSO Exercise Flow Improvements

O
Shared by Owen • March 13, 2026

Issuing and exercising ISO/NSOs has implications for both the company and the stakeholder exercising. Companies need reliable processes and clean records, while stakeholders require flexibility to choose what to exercise.

Our updated ISO / NSO Exercise Flow now prompts stakeholders who have been issued both ISOs and NSOs to specify the number of vested ISOs and NSOs they want to exercise in a single request. Stakeholders gain control to exercise based on their own personal tax strategy, while admins benefit from clear visibility and clean, compliant documentation.

Here’s what’s changing:

Stakeholder updates:

  • Can now select how many ISOs vs. NSOs to exercise
  • Cost by type displayed during exercise request process
  • ISO/NSO breakdown visible in vesting schedules

Admin updates:

  • ISO/NSO type displayed in exercise request lists
  • Separate grants and exercise agreements generated automatically
  • Clean records and exportable reports provided for 3921 filings and audit review
  • Clear, per-grant split mechanics for ISO/NSO reporting

Read more in our expanded support article for admins on how to set up exercise requests, or our article on employee exercise.

3 new reports provide transaction-level transparency

O
Shared by Owen • March 04, 2026

3 new stand-alone transaction reports — Granted, Cancelled, and RSA/RSU Settlement — provide a clear view into how equity grants move in and out of an equity incentive plan.

These new reports present transactions in a structured, exportable format that contains an executive summary for easy review. Exports also maintain the underlying formulas upon download, allowing you to use the reports to model updates, changes, and scenarios.

Each unique report delivers comprehensive tracking and audit-ready data:

  • Granted Report: View and verify all newly granted equity awards and shares with clear insight into when, to whom, and under what terms new grants are issued
  • Cancelled Report: Easily track and audit shares returned to plan due to termination, expiration, and cancellation
  • RSA/RSU Settlement Report: See transaction-level detail for RSU and RSA settlement events that provides key information for reporting, calculations, and reconciliations
