Overview

We've shipped a major self service overhaul to the Template Manager experience. This release introduces a brand-new Manage Template side modal and refreshed template tiles, giving Brand Admins, Support, and Admins a faster, more intuitive way to manage templates — without ever needing to open the template editor.

What's New

🖼️ Redesigned Template Tiles
Template tiles have been visually refreshed with cleaner layouts — scale-to-fit preview images, bold titles, artwork-in-use counts at a glance, and simplified interactions. Clicking any tile now opens the new Manage Template side modal directly, replacing the old cog-based navigation.

📋 Manage Template Side Modal
A new centralised hub for all template actions, accessible in a single click from any tile:

  • Edit Title — Rename templates inline without entering the editor.
  • Update Thumbnail — Swap preview images directly from the modal.
  • Approve / Draft Toggle — Switch template status with a single click.
  • Download Template PDF — Review the template PDF with a single click within the modal.
  • Edit Template — Jump into the editor with role-aware access (Admins always; Support/Brand Admins only on draft templates with Template Master permissions).
  • Manage Permissions — Launch the full permissions flow from the modal.
  • Tag Management — Add and remove tags without touching template elements, powered by a new reusable tag selector component.
  • Archive Template — Quick-access archiving from the modal.

📊 Artwork In Use
A new overlay modal shows exactly which active artworks are using a given template, including campaign addresses. The count is now surfaced directly on the tile, and the backend has been refined to include pending order items while excluding already-approved ones — giving you a true picture of active usage.

📝 Activities & Conversations
A dedicated overlay shows the full activity log and conversation history for any template. This pulls from template page activity records, so every edit, status change, and comment is visible in one place — with support for loading 100+ activity entries.
