July 2026 Product Updates

I
Shared by Intercom • August 11, 2026

Hi there,

July was a focused month. Presentations moved out of early access and into general release, giving teams a polished way to guide stakeholders through a project as a sequence of slides. Alongside that, work continued on panorama navigation and renderer streaming performance, with a steady set of playback and loading fixes across the presentation workflow.

New Feature

Web App

Presentations

Presentations are now generally available. Users can curate saved Views, panoramas, and multimedia files into a sequence of slides and play them back as a guided walkthrough, with autoplay, looping, and manual navigation. This makes it easier to walk stakeholders through key areas of a project without setting up the scene each time.

Early Access

Web App

Stay tuned for upcoming tools and enhancements that will be available for early access users soon.

In the lab – what we’re working on

Web App

Panorama Occlusion in Point Cloud Scenes

Depth reconstruction is being added so panoramas no longer show through foreground point clouds. This fills gaps in sparse data and keeps panoramas correctly hidden behind objects in the scene, making walkthroughs of point cloud heavy projects easier to read.

Panorama Navigation Cursor

When moving between panoramas, the cursor now follows the position and angle of the surface beneath it, sitting flat against floors, walls, and other geometry instead of floating. This makes it clearer which panorama position a click will move to. Accuracy is strongest on regular surfaces, with continued work on very sparse areas and thin objects.

Faster 3D Tileset and Terrain Streaming

Investigation into globe and terrain tile streaming optimization is ongoing. The goal is quicker load times and fewer visual gaps when navigating large scenes.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Web App

  • Presentations now start sooner, with 3D scenes loading progressively instead of waiting for the entire scene to finish.
  • Panorama and 2D photo slides finish loading before the presentation timer starts.
  • Added a loading state with a progress indicator, with controls temporarily disabled while content loads.
  • Panorama discs are now hidden during slide transitions for cleaner visuals.
  • Fixed the progress bar freezing after manually navigating from a panorama to the 3D view.
  • Fixed the Previous button becoming unresponsive after manually navigating from a panorama to the 3D view.
  • Fixed a missing loading overlay when opening a project with a saved panorama set as the Home View.
  • Fixed a replay zoom mismatch on 3D only first slides when looping is disabled.
  • Fixed inconsistent transition behavior between autoplay and manual playback modes.

Beyond these updates, we have been busy under the hood. Backend work continued on account data isolation, permission and audit standardization, and a rebuild of how layers are imported and created, all aimed at consistency and reliability rather than visible changes.

As always, we would love to hear your feedback. Dive into the new updates today and let us know what you think!
