This week, we’ve made 6 updates, here are the highlights:

  • Added a 'Sent At' field in the sent email window to show the specific date and time the email was sent.
  • Fixed an issue causing Gallery expiry notifications to go out on Galleries not set to expire.
  • The "Book Now" button will no longer appear in the header on the frontend when viewing a booking page catalogue.
  • Lite Plan users have full access to the Pricing Guide.
  • In Reports, the Sample Example Header will no longer overlap with the nav menu.
  • Sprout Assistant tooltips no longer point to sprout.test links.

This week, we’ve made 15 updates, here are the highlights:

  • Editing galleries just got easier–now when you set your zoom level and filename preference it will remember the next time you login, plus we made copying filenames easier! (Thanks for the suggestion Mike!)
  • As part of our ongoing efforts to help you sell more, we've added marketing images for FPL Metal and Acrylic products.
  • Changed the text on the "Visit our website" button to "Visit the website" to make it more agnostic for solo photographers as opposed to studios (Thanks for the suggestion Kristine!)
  • You can now send test emails directly from Email Templates.

Other fixes:

  • Payment Schedules will no longer show an excessive number of decimal places for Fixed Amount/Fixed Amount as Deposit.
  • Logged in Clients can now download the correct individual image instead of always getting the first image in the Gallery.
  • Products and Services will now show their price formatted correctly in the Gallery shopping cart.
  • Saving (but not closing) a Pricelist will no longer temporarily set the package totals to $0.
  • Shipping Methods with a large number of variable pricing lines will no longer break when trying to save.
  • Formatting has been improved for Products and Services in Booking Proposals that don't have an image to display.
  • Fixed the caret/arrow direction for various accordions throughout the software to make them more intuitive.

This week, we’ve made 9 updates we think you’ll appreciate:

  • You can once again add negative values to line items on Orders.
  • Fixed an issue where frontend Shops using Euro as their currency would incorrectly apply tax to Orders with shipping.
  • We are no longer allowing you to use the same date name when creating custom dates in a Workflow.
  • Fixed an issue causing Shoot Type options in a Contact Form to deviate between the frontend and backend.
  • Changing the Shoot Type of a Lead on the list page will now correctly apply the proper brand and Users.
  • Skipping the Startup Wizard will no longer create an empty Contact Form with 0 fields.
  • Made some styling and font sizing tweaks to Reports.
  • Packages containing items that include add-ons will now be visible in the cart.
  • Clicking outside popups will not trigger another click, similar to touch.

This week, we’ve made 31 updates we think you’ll appreciate:

  • Added a Business Address step to the Startup Wizard.
  • Added a new Acrylic Float Frame visualizer type.
  • You can now duplicate Packages within a Price List.
  • Speeded up the editing of a Price List.
  • Added the proper texture for the Brushed Gold FPL frame option.
  • Email Marketing will now warn you if you try to send out an Email without a subject line.
  • Renamed FPL frame choice Aged Linen to Aged White.
  • Downloading a single image from the frontend of a Gallery will now work reliably on mobile.
  • Identified and fixed an issue where a Booking Page with only 1 offering, but the allow multiple package selection feature turned on, would sometimes fail unexpectedly.
  • Editing the subtotal in the backend of an Order will now apply and persist correctly.
  • Refactored handling of currencies with a comma as the decimal separator. (i.e. Euros)
  • Made it so Contracts always soft-delete and added some logging to identify what is randomly deleting contracts.
  • Modals will now open correctly on larger screens using touch mode.
  • When selecting the Shoot Type filter, the Business Health graph won't break anymore.
  • On mobile devices, you can once again set the start and end date of a scheduler's booking window.
  • Fixed an issue with address verification for submitting lab orders.
  • The navigation settings toggle in Gallery Settings will now reflect what option is selected.
  • Slight wording change for Notes attached to a Date. (Notes instead of Internal Notes)
  • Fixed an issue with the sent email preview having slightly different formatting than the actual sent email.
  • For Email Marketing forms, the font type selected will now apply more consistently to the buttons.
  • Editing the font weight of an Email Marketing inline form will now preview correctly.
  • Adding additional Products and Services with custom uploaded images will now display correctly within the Shop Preview within a Price List.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes within a Shop, the button on a hero slider would persist temporarily when switching between types.
  • The Pricing guide will now correctly display the sizing and pricing.
  • Default Display for Digitals will now correctly show the selected image on the frontend of a Gallery.
  • Shop Preview will no longer duplicate Hero Slider slides.
  • Corrected an issue where on a smaller-sized screen, some of the text in the visualizer preview area within a Price List would get cut off.
  • Added Frame Options to Floating Gallery Wrap.
  • Changed taxes for FPL to be based on billing address.
  • The boutique box was applied incorrectly to some print sizes.
  • Corrected an issue where some FPL Frame Options were missing on the frontend.

  • Notes in the Documents section will now properly display bullet points when they include a list.
  • Added more clarity to the description for Digital Downloads in a Price List.
  • Corrected an issue where trying to update a $0 package to have a non-zero price caused it to break.
  • The Apply Template option will no longer appear twice in new Booking Pages.
  • Minor spelling error inside Gallery > Settings > Downloads > Show advanced settings.
  • The Booking Proposal expiration date is now calculated when it gets published rather than when it was created.
  • The Questionnaire AI is no longer showing inside Contact Forms.
  • Deleted Notes will no longer appear in the Client Portal.
  • Fixed an issue causing the currency symbol to sometimes duplicate while editing an Order.

This week, we’ve made 7 updates we think you’ll appreciate:

  • When viewing a filtered view on list pages, update the title to include the state (i.e. Schedulers: Trash) when viewing the trashed Schedulers page.
  • Corrected an issue that would sometimes cause pagination and recipient count in the Email Campaign and Email List modals to display incorrectly.
  • Changing the Shoot Type in the 'Add Shoot Modal' will no longer prevent you from adding additional Users.
  • Corrected a small issue with cloning Workflows from the Sprout Library.
  • Emails sent once again will display the recipient data when using dynamic recipients.
  • Subtotals on Orders should no longer show excess decimal places.
  • Custom images uploaded to Packages will now display properly on the frontend of a Booking Proposal/Page.

This week, we’ve made 24 updates we think you’ll appreciate:

  • There is now a visualizer option for Round Metal Prints.
  • Added a new modal to bulk apply Pricelists to existing Galleries.
  • You can now always use custom-uploaded images for Prints/Products/Services/Digitals in a pricelist, in addition to something like a Visualizer.
  • On a Lead or Shoot, the label at the top has been replaced by a link to go back to the Lead or Shoots list page.
  • Round prints now have a round cropping mode to visualize the resulting crop better.
  • We are now showing uploaded images as covers on non-lab prints inside of the Pricelist.
  • You can now open multiple pricing accordions in a Price List at the same time.
  • Added more clarity on notes (i.e. internal vs client-facing).
  • Adding a new Print/Product/Service will auto-select the name in the sidebar.
  • Removed mention of Unsplash as a source for Hero Images in the Shop Builder.
  • Made formatting for text laid out in our text editors more consistent throughout Sprout.
  • Questionnaire form Instructions will now display properly on the front end of a BP.
  • The dashboard notification panel will now clear unread notifications when using the 'Mark all as read' button.
  • Fixed an issue preventing some iCal calendar links from syncing as expected.
  • Fixed an issue causing the 'Enter Gallery' button to overlap with the Email field when collecting emails.
  • Collecting names and emails on a Gallery can now occur when the Gallery is also password-protected.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause package items for a BP to duplicate after the Client signed the contract on the front end.
  • Gallery Templates will now correctly copy over the 'Register to View' setting when being applied.
  • Disabled toggles in IPS Gallery Settings are now hidden as intended.
  • Adjusted styling for fulfillment on the Order list page when an order has both self and lab fulfillment.
  • Made the naming schemes for Items within Packages more consistent.
  • Rotating or cropping images in the frontend of a Gallery no longer causes previous selections such as paper type to reset.
  • Incrementing additional copies for a Print in an Order will now properly save at 1 copy.
  • Reviews left on Digital Files now show up as expected.

This week, we’ve made 13 updates we think you’ll appreciate:

  • Show the file names in the Shop Quick Select modal.
  • You can now use the Escape key to exit from viewing a single image in a Gallery.
  • The expanded state of the "CRM" section will stay consistent when navigating into a Shoot/Lead. For example, if it's open on the Dashboard and you go into a Lead, it'll stay open.
  • Added an alert to the Scheduler to alert you if all of your availability is located outside of the Start/End window.
  • Full-width left and full-width right sections in a Shop now have a mobile view.
  • Products, Services and Digitals will now display their prices on the main view of a Pricelist on the backend.
  • The Desktop and Mobile nav menus now have the same ordering of menu items.
  • You can now open the Fulfillment Section and Crop Modal for a Lab Fulfilled Order on mobile.
  • Some small design tweaks for Orders on mobile.
  • Fixed the year for the Q1, Q2, etc filters on Reports.
  • Made it so that BP Confirmation reminders have matching text in the buttons (backend vs. email)
  • Added better error messaging for FPL orders missing billing contact information.
  • Updated the "Free Marketing Images" link for FPL inside the price list lab fulfillment tab to go to the actual free marketing images.

  • Fixed an issue on mobile where you cannot add a new date to the calendar on smaller devices as the button isn't accessible.
  • The manual booking option is now visible on mobile.
  • You can once again duplicate Gallery Templates.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes you get the wrong image and not the one you selected when downloading single images in a Gallery.
  • Fixed an issue with re-uploading images with an uppercase file extension (i.e. .JPG).
  • Stopped the package dropdown from showing the HTML shortcode for an ampersand instead of the & symbol.
  • Added the 'Alignment' button to various text editors throughout the software.
  • Disabled the notes on Gallery Templates
  • Fixed the expired toggle on Gallery Templates so the expiry gets duplicated correctly.
  • Fixed a styling issue with loading spinners that appear inside of a Booking Page on the backend.

Galleries, now better than ever!

As part of our ongoing commitment to making Sprout even better, we’re excited to roll out the first round of small (but impactful!) updates to your Sprout Galleries.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Minimum order amount - Set a required amount your clients must spend in a Gallery.
  • Register to view - Collect both your Gallery visitor’s name & email for better tracking.
  • Unread badge - Never miss a client’s favourite submission, order, etc. again!
  • Improved order and download management - More clarity and fewer steps.
