The GDPR Assistant is an add-on that generates a list of candidates whose consents are about to expire and enables their auto-anonymization and the automated renewal e-mail dispatch according to the rules you specify.
With the latest update, two improvements have been made to the GDPR Assistant’s functionality:
Until now, it was possible to set a single rule for both processes. The Assistant could automatically anonymize (after first sending a consent renewal e-mail) all candidates whose consent for current and future recruitments expired.
Now, you can set different, independent rules for:
Why did we make this change?
E.g., you can anonymize all candidates whose consent is about to expire - but exclude candidates sourced via the plugin from the automatic sending of consent renewal requests.
Consents with the same meaning but different wording (e.g., different language versions of a clause) are grouped in the system as a single clause type—e.g., “consent for future recruitment.”
The Assistant’s operating rules were previously based on types; however, following the latest update, the Assistant can now operate based on specific clauses rather than their types.
Why did we make this change?
It often happens that our users work with non-standard consents (candidates from sourcing, job fairs, and other sources, bypassing traditional job postings and application forms).
In such cases, it is useful to base the GDPR Assistant’s rules on specific consents rather than consent types.
