Corrective Actions take teams from spotting an issue to solving it. This monthās updates add clearer context and smarter guidance, so teams take the right next step thoughtfully and consistently.
This month, weāre shining the spotlight on:

Templated Corrective Actions are great when you need consistency, but they leave no room for teams to add their own instructions. Unātemplated actions give teams the freedom to raise what they need, but offer no way for Admins to guide next steps. Feeling a bit like Goldilocks? Our latest release strikes the balance, giving Admins space to add clarity without taking away the input teams rely on.
Whatās changed?
Until now, requiring a Corrective Action meant you couldnāt offer any suggested next steps. That often left Admins worrying that team members without the right knowledge might miss an important action, or that experienced staff couldnāt guide the response in a useful way.
With this release, when you require a Corrective Action for a question, you can add suggested next steps or even mandate a specific response. Teams get the clarity they need, and you maintain confidence that the right action will be taken when an issue is raised.
Ready to give it a try?
To use it, head to your Record Log and select āRequire action.ā Then choose āAdd messageā and enter the guidance you want the team to see.
It wouldnāt feel right to improve how Corrective Actions are raised without also improving how theyāre reviewed. You can now see additional context on raised Corrective Actions, including the source section and field information, directly in Complete Tasks, Task Reports, and exports. This gives teams the detail they need while saving time and unnecessary clicks.
Itās Trailās job to make sure tasks are recorded and visible across your estate so you can demonstrate compliance. But thereās a difference between completing a task and completing it the right way. Weāve continued to add features that support teams in doing things properly, with clarity and consistency.
Geolocations are next, helping confirm that tasks are completed on site where they should be. Youāll be able to set a required location for a task and quickly report on any completed elsewhere. Itās another step toward ensuring every task reflects realāworld action, not just a checked box.
