For a user to fall into an audience targeting segment, how recently will they have had to view the content and when do they expire from viewing this content? Is this cookie based?

The audience targeting groups are all based on 1st party Tripadvisor data. For the majority of the audiences this data is held for 30 days but if you have any questions about a specific audience group, let the sales team know and we will find out for you.

Does destination Retargeting shows our ad to the people who have been looking for any destination in the past 30 days, or something else?

Yes, exactly, with destination retargeting on ‘All Destination’ campaigns your ad will only be shown to those users who have looked at the destination you have selected in the previous 30 days.

Any recommendations for Viator Tour Operators to make a campaign?

My recommendation would be to set up your campaign using the Listing Booster product as by having a viator listing you also have a Tripadvisor Listing for your business.
