TTM for Jira End of Life Update

Meital avatar
Shared by Meital β€’ July 06, 2026

Last October, we retired Tricentis Test Management for Jira from the Atlassian Marketplace. We are now sharing an update that this product will officially cease to operate on October 16, 2026. To ensure you receive the latest security updates, please upgrade to version 15.0.0 as soon as possible. This free release will be the only version that will receive critical security updates.

For your long‑term test management needs, we recommend transitioning to Tricentis qTest. If you have not yet done so, you can still export your existing test cases: https://documentation.tricentis.com/tricentis_test_management_for_jira/content/test_design/import_export_test_cases.htm

Thank you again for joining us on this journey πŸ™
After October 16, 2026, live support for TTM for Jira will no longer be available. Product documentation will remain accessible for reference here: https://docs.tricentis.com/ttm-for-jira/content/cover_web.htm

TTM for Jira version 14.30.0 is here! πŸŽ‰

What's new in this release:

  • AI support for custom fields: custom fields help you create more tailored test cases. Check out the AI configuration section of the admin page for more details. Custom fields are project-specific, ensuring users can only select fields for the projects they have permission to access
  • "Result" field for automated test runs: allows users to pass exceptions or error details to this field, providing more context for the team for faster troubleshooting
  • AI improvements: AI engine refinements mean improved quality and accuracy in test cases. This includes better integration of project-specific fields, so your test case outputs are more relevant and actionable
  • And more: this release also includes several bug fixes, performance enhancements, and design improvements aimed at optimizing your overall app experience

The team's hard at work on the next release, so as always, reach out with any feedback. Happy testing! πŸ₯‚

Hi there,

We're excited to announce that a new version has been deployed! ✌🏻

What's New:

  • Copy Folder Structure: Create test runs matching your folder structure in Test Design.

  • Quick Add Environment & Build: Easily create environments and builds, similar to adding labels in Jira.

  • AI-Generated Tests & UI/UX Enhancements: Custom fields are now on the UI for manual data entry, with warnings for fields needing manual setup. Instantly stop operations with 'ESC' or a new stop button, and see total tests after generation.
  • Bug Fixes & Improvements: Performance upgrades and bug fixes for a smoother experience.

Enjoy and as always feel free to reach out with any feedback πŸ€“
