Hi there,

Learn a series of steps to help you navigate math word problems and practice putting your skills into action in this new subject from TTRS.

Word problems can be confusing! These modules show you how to break them down into steps and then use addition, subtraction, multiplication and/or division to find the answer.

Sample module: There are 10 children at the party. The children share 20 cookies for a snack. How many cookies does each child get? I can use division to find the answer. I know 20 divided by 10 equals 2. Each child gets 2 cookies.

"Math Word Problems" ("Maths Word Problems" for UK English users) features two levels with keywords, strategy instruction, and practice problems. Problems progress in difficulty moving from single-step in Level 1 to more challenging, multi-step problems in Level 2. Images help you visualize the word problem and cue operations and next steps.
