New Demo Library structure

Hi Friend,

We’ve made it easier to organize and locate what you've created vs. what was shared with you, and to make sure your team has the right permissions and access to what they need.

Until now, control over your Walnut library was quite limited. All folders were public, but the content inside them was not.

Now, you can define who has access to the folder and the type of access they’ll have to the demos inside the folder - all in one place.

What has changed:

1. Now, there’s a new structure to the left side menu to differentiate and easily navigate between content that has been shared with you or created by you. Like Google Drive, but the Walnut way. Here’s what it looks like:

  • My library - A section that contains the templates and demos that you’ve created ✍🏼
  • Shared library - A section that contains all the templates and demos that have been shared with you 👫

2. Filters - In the filter menu, you can find two new options: one to exclusively view templates and another to exclusively view demos 🔍

3. Folders - Until now, folders have always been public for everyone in the organization, with no way to control it. Now, you can define who from the organization has access to the folder and the type of access they’ll have to the demos inside the folder - all in one place 📁

P.S. Only Walnut Admins and Editors can create and manage folder permissions. Presenters will be able to move demos they created into folders shared with them, but will not be able to create folders of their own.
