A new calendar, smarter bookings, and better scheduling tools are coming soon!

Next week we will be releasing a major update to the calendar and introducing a much requested scheduling feature.

Here's what's coming:

Smarter appointment booking
Booking appointments is now clearer and better protected against mistakes.

• Rooms and people are now booked separately, so it's always obvious what you're reserving
• Real-time warnings flag conflicts, out-of-hours bookings, and locations missing required equipment
• Patients booking online will now respect any blocks you've set in your schedule
• Appointment confirmation emails are more detailed, with instructions you can configure yourself

A calendar built around how you work
The new calendar gives you much more control over what you see and how you see it.

• Choose what information is displayed and save your preferred views
• Reorder columns and collapse the side panel for more space
• Hover over any appointment for a quick summary without opening it
• See appointment status at a glance with new status icons
• A live countdown shows time until your next appointment
• Keyboard shortcuts make switching between views faster

We've also replaced internal meeting bookings with a new time block function, a cleaner way to protect time in your calendar.

Scheduling templates that save time

• Create templated schedules per role to speed up availability setup
• Use templates to block time in bulk
• Edit your own schedule without affecting others
• Adjust availability and capacity without rebuilding schedules from scratch
