Discount Single Line Items

You can now apply a discount to a single line on an invoice or quote instead of only being able to discount the whole thing.

Click the money icon next to any line to open a short form where you can set either a fixed amount or a percentage off, plus a reason for the discount. Once applied, the line shows the discount, and you can remove it again with one click.

What you'll see

• New row in the totals breakdown: Subtotal, then Line item discounts, then Taxable amount, then Total
• The discount reflected correctly in Xero and in your sales and credits reports, so the figures always match what the patient was actually charged.

What's next

This is rolling out gradually, so you may not see it on your account yet, but at some point in the coming weeks.
