Update: MS Document Thumbnails Now Available in Files

From now on, MS documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) uploaded to Files will automatically generate thumbnails—giving you a quick visual representation of your documents instead of a generic file icon.

Why did we add this feature?

  • Enhanced Organization: Thumbnails make it easier to visually identify your files at a glance, saving you time and effort.
  • Improved Workflow: Quickly locate the right document, especially when managing multiple files within your team.
  • User Convenience: This update is designed to make file management more intuitive and user-friendly.

Please note that this feature applies only to newly uploaded MS documents. Files uploaded before this update will retain their original generic icons.
