We’re excited to bring you the Inspection Calendar, a brand-new way to manage your inspections across GovWell and your personal calendar.

The Inspection Calendar allows you to seamlessly manage your inspections and sync them with your personal calendar, helping you coordinate daily tasks with your teammates. The calendar integration is bidirectional, meaning any changes made in your external calendar are also reflected in your personal calendar – this allows you to manage your GovWell calendar from your own calendar!

The Inspection Calendar also allows you to set up Holidays to block federal holidays and create Personal Inspection Hours for inspectors with part-time or non-standard schedules, keeping your calendar accurate and tailored to your team.

GovWell now lets you assign a Final Reviewer to your Plan Review process – ensuring every plan receives a final seal of approval.

The Final Reviewer role gives one team member the ability to perform a final check after all other reviewers have completed their tasks. This person applies the final judgment on the plan set before the corrections report is sent to the applicant.

This flexible and useful feature helps ensure that your reviews are thorough, with no steps – or stamps! – left behind.

We’re excited to announce the Plan Set Revisions feature, designed to make updating already approved plan sets easier and more flexible!

👀 Instead of starting Plan Review from the start to update approved plans, simply initiate a revision directly within the same plan set.

⚡ Even better, revisions can be performed at any point in the workflow without interrupting ongoing tasks. So, for example, if a revision is required while the workflow is already in the Inspections step, there’s no need to add a Plan Review step or delay other tasks – the revision works in parallel, allowing the project to move forward without any disruptions.
