Introducing the New Design of Newsifier: Easier, Cleaner, and More Efficient

Hi there,

We’re excited to announce the launch of the new and improved design of Newsifier! This update is designed to make managing your website faster, more intuitive, and easier to navigate. Here's a quick look at the key updates we’ve made:

A Redesigned Menu for Simplicity

The menu has been redesigned to save space and make it more user-friendly. Instead of separate menu items for creating content, you can now use a simple + button to quickly add articles, categories, or tags.

Improved Article Overview

The article management page now includes:

  • A cleaner design that gives a better overview
  • Filters by author to easily see all articles per author
  • Easy-to-recognize icons to show if an article is draft, scheduled, or published.
You can still filter articles by status with just a click.

Streamlined Editing Process

When editing or adding a new article, you’ll notice:

  • Tags, and the main image are now conveniently placed on the right side for easier access.
  • Less clutter beneath the editor, so you can focus on key tasks like SEO checks and article properties.
  • Options like article types and advanced settings are now hidden in dropdowns since they’re rarely used—keeping the interface clean but functional when needed.

Flesh Reading Score and SEO Check in the Header

Another improvement is the placement of the Flesh Reading Score and SEO Check Score in the header bar.

  • These scores are now always visible while editing your article, making it easy to track optimization in real-time.
  • Previously, you had to scroll down to see these scores. Now, they’re just a glance away with intuitive icons showing how well your article is performing.

Clearer Separation of Staff and Users

We’ve made a clear distinction between staff (your editors, moderators, and team members) and users (visitors who create accounts on your website). This ensures easier management of your team and audience.

New Feature: Customize Your Social Media Headlines

S
Shared by Support • November 20, 2024

Hi First name,

We’re excited to introduce a new feature that allows you to create a unique headline for social media posts, separate from your article’s main headline!

When sharing an article on social media via the editor, the headline from your article is automatically used as the social media post's headline.

With this update, you can now customize the headline specifically for social media (the OG:title).

This means you can craft more engaging, attention-grabbing headlines for your social media posts while keeping your main headline intact.

The customized Social Media Headline will be used across all platforms where you share the article.

Boost Google Discover traffic

Research indicates that Google Discover increasingly picking the OG:title when displaying articles, so using this option can also potentially be used to get more traffic from Google Discover.

🚩 Please note that this feature is only available if you use the social media sharing option in the editor, which is a paid feature in the lower-tier plans.

Hi there,

Have you ever been editing an article only to find that a colleague is making changes to the article at the same time?

The result? Your edits get overwritten, which can lead to a lot of frustration.

To prevent these issues, we’ve introduced our One Editor Access feature.

Now, whenever someone is editing an article, their name appears in the article overview, clearly indicating who’s currently working on it.

You can still access the article but are getting warned to not make any changes that can overwrite the work of the other editor.
