We’ve made some big upgrades to Timelines in Planpage, giving you more flexibility for detailed schedules, better ways to visually organize important moments, and a more formal way to manage songs throughout the planning process.
The June 2026 update includes new tools for Timeline Item Breakdowns, color-coded Highlights, formatted notes, built-in song selections, project music planning, client song collection, and cleaner timeline PDF exports.
Add a mini schedule inside a timeline item for moments that need more detail, like hair and makeup, ceremony processionals, transportation, or photo timing. Breakdowns help you keep the main timeline easy to scan while still giving your team and vendors the details they need.

Create custom labels and colors for important timeline items, making it easier to call attention to VIP moments, vendor arrivals, photo priorities, or anything your team needs to spot quickly.

Timeline item notes now support formatting like bold, italic, text color, bullet lists, numbered lists, and checklists, making it easier to organize important details directly inside each timeline item.

Add songs directly to timeline items like the processional, grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, or last song. Music stays connected to the exact moment it belongs to, and you can link songs from Spotify or YouTube to keep everyone aligned on the right version.

Each project now has a dedicated Music page for timeline songs and standalone song lists, making it easy to organize selections like Must Play Songs, Do Not Play Songs, etc. Share with clients so they can add song selections, and set an optional deadline for song submissions.

Timeline PDFs now have a cleaner layout with your logo and branding included, helping you share a more polished timeline with clients, vendors, and your team. Your timeline display settings also carry through to PDF exports and shareable views, so the right details stay visible.

Planpage now has budget and payment tracking 🎉
Track estimates vs. actuals, link items to vendors, attach real invoices, and monitor payment due dates.
