With the State Options Set feature, you can customize deductible and limit options based on your prospect’s state or your agency's coverage area. This ensures they only see the options relevant to their location, streamlining the decision-making process. You can even set an Agent Recommended option to guide clients toward your preferred coverage.
For example, if you’re working with prospects in Texas and Arkansas, you can configure different deductible and limit options for each state—ensuring that clients in Texas only see options applicable to them, while those in Arkansas see choices that match their state's requirements. If you're covering multiple states, you can also set a default Nationwide option, which will apply unless a state-specific set is defined.

🧂TODAY'S SALTY TIP ⤵️
Did you know that while we don't yet have the infrastructure to support custom questions, you can use the "Notes" step (located within the Conclusion category) to ask anything else you need to know from your prospect?

Manually Cancel Reminders
Agents can now manually cancel any pending reminders by navigating to a submission's timeline and finding the "reminder" timeline event. When appropriate, there will be a button displayed there that can be used to “cancel reminders.”
Disable SALT’s Submission Confirmation Email
Agents can now disable the confirmation email/text that SALT sends to prospects. This is helpful when agents want to use a tool like Zapier to send their own custom reminders.
Hey SALT,
Here's a peek into the latest features of SALT we've recently released. I’ve got two key things to highlight: a new way to share forms called “Links” and a new pricing tier for high-usage agencies called "Propel +".
✨Links✨Links is a new feature that expands on how you can share your SALT Forms. It will also drastically reduce, potentially even eliminate, the need for some agencies to have more than one form. How do links work? As of today, your SALT Forms can now have multiple links. A Link is a unique URL to access a Form with custom branding, assignments, notifications, open graph settings, and more. Having multiple Links for your Form opens a plethora of options. For example, you can build a Link for each referral source, track a marketing campaign, or notify a specific CSR and your marketing team for engagement tracking. Take a second and watch this quick video tour I made that helps explain how SALT Links work: |
✨Propel +✨If you’re one of the many agencies with more than 5 users and process more than 300 submissions annually, this new plan might be a fit for you. We've now introduced Propel+ (shamelessly jumping on the PLUS naming bandwagon). This $299/mo tier comes with 10 users and 600 annual submissions. Double the amount included in the standard Propel plan. |
Since the release of our Data Credit system at the beginning of the year, we've received numerous questions like the ones below. This post aims to clarify any lingering confusion and help SALT subscribers understand how this system can enhance your agency's success.
🎥 Tap here for a video tutorial walkthrough of all of the information below and more.
The Data Credit system was built for managing data retrieval and usage within SALT submissions.
Previously, SALT absorbed the cost for all data retrieved through our integration partners. However, with our transition to a DaaS model, we aimed to give control to the agents. The SALT Data Credit system allows you to choose when and how much data to purchase, at your discretion, to acquire the desired data and maximize efficiency.
A positive Data Credit balance is necessary to retrieve the Data Reports returned by our Big Data providers, Estated & Fenris.
Additionally, once you've processed 300 submissions (on the Propel plan), or 600 submissions (on the Propel+ plan), a positive Data Credit balance is necessary to continue processing SALT submissions.
Please note that while these Fenris/Estated data reports provide significant value, their use is not mandated. You can choose to deactivate the integrations if desired, eliminating the additional Data Credit charge associated.
Administrators and owners can access the Data Credit system via the billing section. Your agency will need to pre-purchase SALT Data Credits before requesting data from Fenris/Estated.
Data Credits are priced at $1 each, with discounts available when purchased in bulk. See this article for full pricing info and discount details.
Your agency's average data usage will be displayed to help you determine which Data Credit package should be purchased.
[Note: These Data Credits are non-expiring and will roll over if not used before your next billing cycle. Please be aware that Data Credit purchases are non-refundable (cancellations included).]
Your agency will receive two reminders before running out of Data Credits: one when your balance is running low and another when your submission soft cap has been reached.
You can opt-in to automatic reload; however, this option will default to OFF. If your agency would like to turn on auto-reload, you can do so from the billing section.
