π₯ Horizontal in. Vertical out. Meet Auto Reframing.
Turning broadcast footage into social-ready verticals used to mean manual cropping, keyframing, and hoping you didn't lose the action. Not anymore.
Auto Reframing converts your videos to 9:16 automatically: AI detects where the action is and keeps it in frame throughout. In a football match, it follows the ball as the play moves toward goal. No editing required.
Here's how it works:
- Fully automatic π€ Trigger it directly from your media, and track progress in real time. It can also be customized to fit your editing workflow.
- Saved as a new version π The reframed video is added to your original media as a new version, ready to use right away.
- Manual override βοΈ If the AI misses the moment, pause the preview and correct the framing yourself: set a new keyframe or simply adjust with your mouse.
Auto Reframing is rolling out now. Reach out to your CSM or ping us in the chat to learn how your organization can access it.
Shoot horizontal. Publish vertical. Skip the edit.
π Transcripts, in your languages. All 91 of them.
Organizations can now pick which languages their video transcripts are generated in. Up to 10, chosen from 90+ supported languages.
English, French, and Spanish are on by default. Adding more takes seconds: head to
Configure β Transcripts, click "Add language", and pick from the dropdown. Every upload from that point on gets transcripts in all configured languages, ready as soon as processing completes.
π Up to 10 languages per organization
π£ 90+ languages supported, from Japanese to Swahili to Welsh
βοΈ Set once, applies everywhere: configuration lives in workspace settings and covers all subsequent uploads
One thing to know, languages must be configured before upload. Transcripts can't be re-generated for assets already in the platform, so set your list early.
π One sentence instead of six filters. Meet Smart Search.
Stop stacking filters by hand. With Smart Search, you type one plain sentence, like "goals from MbappΓ© in a World Cup final", and it builds the search for you using your own taxonomy.
Your query appears as editable tags above the results, so you can tweak anything in place. Prefer classic search? Toggle back anytime.
Available to every user, on the Media Library page and inside any collection. It's beta for now: click the Smart button and take it for a spin.
π Transcript exports, in the right order.
DOCX exports got a cleanup. Timecodes now flow chronologically, so scanning for a specific moment takes seconds, not minutes.
Behind the scenes, transcript generation is also more reliable, with automatic retries when processing fails. Fewer gaps, fewer re-runs, more transcripts you can count on.
Perfect for pulling quotes, validating content, or reviewing sessions without watching everything end-to-end.
π German is live. Translations are locked.
German is now fully supported across the platform, and we've tightened up French and Spanish while we were at it.
No more stray English strings interrupting your workflow. No more jarring language switches mid-task. Just clean, consistent translations from start to finish.
The app speaks your language (properly, this time). #ForSportsBySports
New default view: Media Cards are here πΈ
Your Media Library just got a visual upgrade. We've redesigned how media is displayed with a new card view built for speed and clarity.
Visual previews now sit on top with clean metadata below: no more text overlays blocking your content. Every media item renders at a consistent size, and you can choose exactly which metadata fields to display and how many.
The result: spot what you need faster, verify details easier, and act without friction.
Card view is now the default, but grid and list views are still available in the view switcher if you prefer them. #ForSportsBySports
π± Mobile downloads that don't ghost you.
We rebuilt mobile downloads from the ground up so they actually finish, no more stuck progress bars, no more wondering what made it to your device.
Downloads now report accurate status, survive app restarts, and recover cleanly when connections drop. Your notifications screen shows you exactly what's happening, so you can trust what you see and move on.
No more frozen downloads. No more mystery files. Just downloads that work. #ForSportsBySports

π Faster navigation, right from the first click
Your content shouldnβt make you wait. Video thumbnails are now instantly clickable, so you can jump straight into media without waiting for previews to load.
That means faster browsing, smoother navigation, and a more responsive feel⦠even in large libraries or on slower connections.
Less waiting. More doing. #ForSportsBySports
π Clear ownership for shared links
No more guessing who shared what.
External links now clearly show the full name of the person who created them, so recipients instantly know where content is coming from.
Whether youβre sharing across teams or with external partners, this adds clarity, builds trust, and keeps collaboration smooth, even outside of ScorePlay.
Transparent sharing, better context. #ForSportsBySports
