How it works
Flag day may be June 14th in the US, but it's flag day for Surfboard today 😎
We know managing international teams is tricky, and time zones make it even harder. At Surfboard, we like to think we've helped to get rid of that faff and make things simpler.
That's why we're excited for our latest release - flags!
Whenever a timezone or time difference is referenced in your schedule, you'll now see a handy little flag emoji to help you quickly identify the location.
We've just released our new 'Time Insights' feature. Tap on any surfer in your daily schedule to see a breakdown of how many hours they're scheduled on each activity across days and weeks.
Companies that work across multiple locations or have lots of teams can end up with a lot of shifts. Well, we’ve made it easier than ever to find the shift you want when building out your shift plans.
Plan shifts even faster with our new search and sort tools in the shift pattern builder 🔍

Keep track of where you are in the day across any timezone, with the ‘time now’ line in your schedule.
Changing timezones is now easier than ever, the ‘time now’ line always helps you orientate yourself so you know exactly what your team are working on right now.
Hi there,
Get an easy overview when the schedule was last published and by whom with the ‘last published’ tag. Stay in control and in the know.
Reduce the time spent messaging managers asking ‘who published the schedule’. The ‘last published’ tag gives you all the information you need to answer your daily questions.
How it works
When in the publish view, the ‘last published’ tag will tell you when the schedule you are currently viewing was last published. Hover over the tag to see a breakdown of:
The tag updates to show the relevant information for the week you’re currently looking at, so you can scroll to any week of the year and get a quick insight into how up-to-date this schedule is..
You can now publish schedules for specific teams or surfers in Surfboard 💪!
